High standard detached house
Beňo, Radoslav ; Rebrova, Tatiana (referee) ; Daněk, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on proposition and elaboration of project documentation for construction of building an object of high-standard family house which is located in the cadastral area of municipality Dolní Lomná on a sites number 45/2 and 47/2. The project is consistent with the ground plan of the municipality. The object is partially basement building with two overground floors and a garage, which has been projected for one car. The house has been designed as one accomodation unit intended for a four-member family. Construction system in the basement and overground floors has been solved as monolithic reinforced concrete construction, concrete characteristic: C30/37, XP1, weldable reinforcing steel: S235-B500B. The project of inner disposition has been solved so that its function suits to all user´s demands.
Predicting local structural properties from antibody sequence
Beňo, Roman ; Příhoda, David (advisor) ; Hoksza, David (referee)
Predicting local structural properties of antibodies at residual level is vital for detecting the presence of post-translational modifications (PTMs), which often induce structural change in the antibody, negatively impact its shelf-life and possibly lead to the loss of the therapeutic potential. In this work, we predict relative solvent accessibility (RSA) of individual residues. This property is, alongside with the type of amino acid in question, the key indicator for presence of methionine oxidations and other types of PTMs. Due to the conservation of the antibody structure, we identified that different classes of prediction methods yield almost interchangeable results - total mean absolute error (MAE) of 5.64 RSA percentage units measured for the best performing machine learning pipeline compared to the 5.96 measured for the best performing statistical pipeline. The significant prediction quality improvement observed within comparison to the random prediction method with MAE of 35.996 may be as well attributed to the sequence conservancy. In CDR regions, RSA values are harder to predict. Although the range of methods and procedures employed throughout this work is by far not able to yield complex structure predictions, it might constitute a modular, high-throughput tool to support one's choices when...

A Simulation of the COMPASS Equilibrium Field Power Supply PID Controller
Havlíček, Josef ; Beňo, Radek ; Stöckel, Jan
The COMPASS tokamak Magnetizing Field (MFPS) and Equilibrium Field Power Supplies (EFPS) circuits are coupled together by mutual inductance and by shared coil in the tokamak central solenoid. EFPS controller has problems with mitigating the voltage distortion caused by MFPS. A modelling was used to obtain better understanding of the system and to improve the EFPS controller algorithm.

The COMPASS tokamak is in a test operation after its reinstallation in Institute of Plasma Physics AS CR in Prague (IPP Prague) in the year 2008. This operation consists of commissioning of various diagnostics and tokamak auxiliary systems. This paper presents current status of magnetic diagnostics after its refurbishment, used method of the calibration and shows examples of magnetic diagnostics utilization for plasma position reconstruction as well as for vertical hydraulic preload interlock system.
