Self-assembled nanostructures in copolymer blends: SAXS, SANS and TEM study
Holoubek, Jaroslav ; Baldrian, Josef ; Hromádková, Jiřina ; Steinhart, Miloš
Phenomena associated with the phase behaviour and self-assembled nanostructures of three block copolymer systems have been studied by small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) and transmision electron microscopy (TEM)

Sikora, Antonín ; Dolgoshey, V. B. ; Baldrian, Josef ; Kratochvíl, Jaroslav
Result of temperature-modulated DSC study of poly(ethyleneglycol) with molecular weight 3000.
The effect of compatibilizers on morphology and mechanical behaviour of polyetylene/polypropylene blends
Raab, Miroslav ; Ščudla, Jaroslav ; Baldrian, Josef ; Nezbedová, E.
Two ethylene-propylene copolymers differing in ethylene content and crystallinity were used as compatibilizers in blends of high-density polyethylene and isotactic polypropylene. The results suggest that the amorphous compatibilizer is superior to the other copolymer. It forms an interphase between the polyethylene and polypropylene domains thus improving the interfacial adhesion and material toughness.
