The Relationship Betweenthe EU law and Czech Legal Order with the Focus on the Principle of Supremacy

The diploma thesis "The Relationship between the EU Law and Czech Legal Order with the Focus on the Principle of Supremacy" analyzes the Czech Constitutional Court's decisions dealing with relationship between the Czech legal order and EU law. The principle of EU law supremacy is emphasised, particularly its impact on the Czech legal order and the Constitution itself. The main question answered in the thesis is whether the Constitutional Court accepted unconditionally the supremacy of EU law over the Czech law as well as over its constitutional rules, and if not, what are the limits to the application of this principle. The first part of the thesis is focused on the determination of the principle of supremacy of the European Community law over national law as it was laid down by decisions of the European Court of Justice in the 1960s and 1970s. The thesis also briefly describes the attitude of Members States whose national courts do mostly apply Community law in the way instructed by the ECJ. Nevertheless, they have not accepted the supremacy unconditionally. The fundamental part of this thesis explores judgments of the Czech Constitutional Court dealing with relationship of the EU law and legal order of the Czech Republic. Relationship between the personality types of the students and the teaching support preferences

The studying of the specialized literature and the sources took place at the very beginning of the dissertation and a literature search was made according to this research. The term "personality" was given a definition, four important personality typologies were then briefly described. A characteristic of all sixteen personality types was also described and in conclusion the chosen teaching supports were described. The practical part is to focus on the execution of personality tests on selected students and to find a relationship between the personality types of the students and the teaching support preferences. In this part was used data collected from a questionnaire survey, graphs and tables. A relationship was successfully determined between the personality types of the students and the kind of teaching support they like the most, a lot, a little and the least. A general preference of the individual personality type was determined according to the tables created on the basis of a questionnaire regarding the teaching supports. It was also determined which teaching support is generally preferred by the respondents attending the daily and combined form of study and respondents attending secondary schools. A practical use of the topic of this dissertation could be the feedback provided to the students attending secondary schools, the daily or even the combined form of study. The results could help to make the approach to education better as well as making the teaching supports more effective.

Contracts for work in construction

The aim of this bachelor thesis was the evaluation and review of contracts for work in construction on the basis of commercial and civil code and their analysis in practice at a few selected companies. On the basis of these two codes the base of contracts for work in construction was explained. Then concepts of business, limited liability company and joint-stock company were defined in the theoretical part. These subjects were also mentioned in the practical part. The questionnaire was compiled to develop practical part. It was sent to construction companies in South Bohemia.
