Evaluating the Effect of Spa Treatment for Ideopatic Scoliosis

Title Evaluating the Effect of Spa Treatment for Ideopatic Scoliosis Objectives The main objective of this work is to evaluate effect of spa treatment for children with ideopatic scoliosis at age of 12-15 years. My objective was to find out the efficiency of spa treatment. I also would like to find out a long-term effect while comparing girls and boys. A long-effect means, that the spa effect will last at least until the next spa visit. The next objective was to find out how many children are affected by ideopatic scoliosis, or how many children suffer from bad body posture. I was also seeking, if there is sufficient number of spa centers for treating these kinds of diseases in Czech Republic. Methods This work has a scientific character. It is a retrospective study focused on evaluation of the effect of spa treatment for children with ideopatic scoliosis. For evaluating the rate of improvement, informations from semi-standartized tests was used. These tests are used in the spa centre in Lázně Bělohrad, Czech Republic. I extracted a selected category of patients, compared these data, and visualised them in a graphs. The Czech - German dialog at life and writings of nationalist, priest and educator František Pravda

Submitted diploma thesis describes the life of priest František Pravda, born Vojtěch Hlinka. He was well-known writer and founder of short stories with rural theme. The thesis introduces Hlinka as a writer, but primarily as a man of many other professions and interests. The way of life brought him to Hrádek u Sušice to work for an aristocratic family of Sturmfeders. Attention is concerned with mutual relations between the Czech patriot and four generations of German baronial family. Hlinka worked as an educator of feeble-minded Ottokar Sturmfeder in Hrádek´s castle. His extraordinary psychopaedics talent is compared with usual provincial and European contemporary standards. There is also depicted Hlinka´s political, writing and religion career and his other interests. The thesis doesn´t overlook Hlinka´s contacts with important representatives of artistic and political life, which helps to complete the picture of Hlinka´s personality.

Public library and the education of younger pupilage reader´s

The aim of our diploma thesis is the foundation of participation of the public libraries in an younger pupilage?s education. The next aim are the possibilities and intensity of the co-operation with schools, families and other institutions. In the theoretical part we dealt with the meaning and role of the public library, stages of the pupil?s reading with the target of the younger pupils, their reading capacity, preferred genres and factors that have an influence on the reader. We also charted the current possibilities of the libraries as to organization of the regional library projects and actions. In the practical part we dealt with the history and present of the Šmidinger library in Strakonice. Thanks to the questionnaire and discussions we determinated the attendance of the library and children?s satisfaction with the library in Strakonice. At the end of our thesis we placed the interview with the library worker who works in the children?s ward of the library in Strakonice.

Ochrana spotřebitele v oblasti obuvi

Práce je věnována současné úpravě ochrany spotřebitele se zaměřením na oblast obuvi. Obsahuje základní charakteristiku právní úpravy ochrany spotřebitele v ČR a její plánované změny do budoucna. V oblasti obuvi zkoumá současnou situaci na trhu v ČR a problematiku uplatňování práva (především při reklamacích). V závěrečné části je provedeno a vyhodnoceno dotazníkové šetření u prodejců a spotřebitelů.
