Management quality system in a chosen organization
Škrdleta, Milan ; Legát, Václav (advisor) ; Aleš, Zdeněk (referee)
This master thesis is focused on quality management system in a chosen organization. The aim is to create searches of quality management system in general, especially to develop the level of applications in the selected organization and suggest partial improvements. Study norms ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 9004 and other literature to analyze the level of implementation of quality management system in a chosen organization. Economically evaluate benefits and costs of a quality management system in an organization. Suggest partial improvements with the use quality improvement tools. The conclusion is rated quality management system in the selected organization and summarizes the partial improvements that are designed to increase the efficiency of the production process for the selected product.
Optimization of preventive maintenance
Kulík, Tomáš ; Legát, Václav (advisor) ; Aleš, Zdeněk (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with preventive maintenance problem. The first part outlines the distinction among the different types of maintenance, basic concepts are explained and a method for reliability centered Maintenance (RCM) is described in detail. In the next section an analysis of data obtained from actual operations is performed, and furthermore a model of preventive maintenance optimization using RCM is developed on that basis. In the conclusion, a solution to optimize preventive maintenance is drafted allowing to prove that properly performed preventive maintenance increases emergency equipment, and it leads to higher operational efficiency.
Measurement of overall equipment effectiveness OEE in a chosen organization
Konvalinka, Miloš ; Aleš, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Legát, Václav (referee)
The aim of the thesis is increasing of production in the assembly line producing steering column modules through designing a system for monitoring indicator of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). The chapter called Indicator of Overall Equipment Effectiveness lists various ways of measuring the OEE, different types of downtime with the description and design calculations for this indicator. Further the chapter called Description of the proposed System for Measuring the OEE describes in detail the method of data collection and evaluation on the selected device. For this chapter follows chapter called Measurement Results and Recommendations which presents the evaluation of the measurements results, including performed optimizations and optimization suggestions, which would be appropriate to implement in the future. The thesis concludes with an economic evaluation of the proposed system.
Implementation of statistical methods in quality management in a chosen organization
Průša, David ; Aleš, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Hladík, Tomáš (referee)
The masters thesis Implementation of statistical methods in quality management in chosen organization is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the theoretical preparation for the second practical part. The theoretical part consists of a literature review of currently used statistical methods in quality control according to ČSN ISO/TR 10017 and a description of the standards used in quality management. Furthermore, this section describes the seven basic tools of quality management. The second part is devoted to the presentation of the selected organization, describing the current state of evaluating the quality of the production, presentation of selected manufacturing process and product, application of control charts and economic evaluation. At the end of this thesis, the results are evaluated and there was a proposal for an appropriate strategy.
Optimisation of spare parts inventories in a selected organisation.
Kuzmenko, Aleksei ; Hladík, Tomáš (advisor) ; Aleš, Zdeněk (referee)
The present diploma project deals with the analysis of maintenance and optimization of spare parts inventory in a selected organization operating in automotive industry. Theoretical and methodological part of the study reviews main approaches as well as existing methods and tools of effective inventory management. The empirical research was conducted at the VALEO AUTOKLIMATIZACE k.s., located in Rakovník, Czech Republic. It manufactures heating, air conditioning units and control panels for automotive industry. The analysis of spare parts inventory was done with the use of MS Excel with the purpose of determining the proper safety stock quantity for each spare parts component. The service level, standard deviation of consumption and lead time factor were selected as determinants (influencing parameters) for the analysis. In accordance to Pareto principle the spare parts components were categorized into three groups, namely, high, medium, and low value items. As a result of the research the calculation method of optimum level for inventory was suggested to support the company's SAP enterprise resource planning system. Applying the revealed calculation method the value of inventory average for 2016 was reduced by 1 356 492 CZK at 98% service level with minimum probability of stock outs.
Current trends in material handling technology
Olšerová, Tereza ; Hladík, Tomáš (advisor) ; Aleš, Zdeněk (referee)
The aim of this work is to prepare an overview of current trends in materials handling division and its uses in logistics and manufacturing. The individual chapters are grouped by kinds of manipulation techniques, which are available on the market today, along with possible ways of its acquisition. Chapter Optimization methods of handling technology focuses on modern methods, which are used to optimize handling equipment in enterprises. These methods focus on optimizing the quantity, type and method of handling. In the chapter Current trends in handling technology is research for monitoring of handling technology using cameras and computational algorithm to determine routes.
