Software defined transceiver for radio amateur use
Paus, Anton ; Povalač, Karel (referee) ; Žalud, Václav (referee) ; Šrámek, Petr (advisor)
This project deals with possibilities of using the software defined radio conception for radio amateur use in a short wave band and its subsequent implementation into properly designed hardware. The aim of this work is to design a transceiver that would be capable of working in AM, FM, SSB, and CW modes. Within a theoretical part of the project the architectures of software defined radios and their components are discussed. This part was focused mainly on analog parts of the chain, such as amplifiers, filters and converters. Signal processing algorithms for both receiver and transmitter working in desired modes are studied subsequently and their computer models are built. Designed algorithms are implemented into FPGA structure (Virtex -5).
NEW CHANNEL CODING METHODS FOR SATELLITE COMMUNICATION
Rumánek, Jaroslav ; Levický, Dušan (referee) ; Žalud, Václav (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This dissertation thesis deals with new progressive channel coding methods for data transmission using satellite transponder. The design of the system for SMS transmission, in which novel turbo coding methods are applied, is discussed too. An achievement of the lowest output power and the smallest user aperture is the principal aim of the new method applications. Design of system that would be able to the error free SMS transmission by very low signal to noise ratio is analyzed in this dissertation thesis. The work is focused on energy budget, modification and implementation of new turbo code types and using unique properties, development of new bit error rate estimation methods and methods for determination of final SMS form. The main contribution is the new type of turbo code development that have optimal properties for this usage, development of new bit error rate estimation method and development of method that is able to determine final form of SMS on the basis SMS frame structure and turbo decoding theory when the bit error rate is not zero.
A business share in common property of more owners
Žalud, Václav ; Štenglová, Ivanka (advisor) ; Oehm, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: Business Share in Joint Ownership of Multiple Individuals The purpose of my thesis is to analyse a business share in joint ownership of multiple individuals. This paper is composed of four parts, each of them dealing with a different variation of the business share in joint ownership. The first part of this work is concerned with a legal interpretation of Section 114 paragraph 3 of the Commercial Code which, inter alia, sets forth that one business share may be held by more than one person. It introduces basic terminology that will be used throughout the work. It concludes that there are three variations of the business share in joint ownership. The first of them is the business share in co-ownership under Section 114 paragraph 3 of the Commercial Code (joint business share in the stricter sense); the second is the business share in matrimonial (community) property pursuant to Section 143 paragraph 2 of the Civil Code; and the third is the business share in matrimonial (community) property under Section 114 paragraph 3 of the Commercial Code (joint business share in the broader sense). The second part deals with the joint business share in the stricter sense. It evaluates mutual legal relationships between co-owners, and legal relationships between the co-owners and a limited liability...
