Between the walls and the river
Štefanides, Maroš ; Plášil, Jiří (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
The planned territory forms an intermediate link between the historical core of the city and the residential district across the river. The plots designated for my concept design are bordered by the Hana River on the north side. On the oblong plot No. 1, there is an older building located in the corner of the plot, which contains premises for rent, in the premises of the building there is a shop for the sale of tobacco products. On plot No. 2 across the road there is one building with a residential function. 4 buildings with different functions are designed on the two selected plots, 3 buildings are located on plot No. 1, two apartment buildings in which smaller shops are integrated on the first above-ground floor are located on the west side of the plot. There is a restaurant in the eastern part. Between these two built-up areas, there is a smaller park space across which a footpath leads to the bridge over the Hana River. Such a solution was chosen to connect the central part of the city with the development behind the river and the walls. Parcel No. 2 was used to build office space with its own parking lot.
