How a students leisure time can affect their level of work with a tourist map

This diploma thesis is focused on ways of spending the students leisure and their impact on the level of work with a tourist map. Part of this work is an analysis of individual map skills. The issue of leisure is discussed from different points of view. In the empirical part the results regarding the test for working with a tourist map and the questionnaire on the way of spending leisure are first presented. Furthermore, the results focused on the issue of the effect of the student's leisure activities on his work with the tourist map are evaluated. It is clear from the research that the best results were achieved by those students who use maps during their leisure time. Reading, sports and playing on a computer, tablet or mobile phone also have a positive effect on working with the map. Key words: leisure, elementary school, secondary school, map skills
Inclusion of interdisciplinary topics in the teaching of geography at the 2nd level of primary schools at the level of the intended corriculum

This bachelor thesis deals with classification of interdisciplinary topics into teaching on the second stage of elementary school. Specifically, it examines the integration of interdisciplinary topics into the teaching of geography, at the intended curriculum level. Part of the thesis is an analysis of randomly selected 56 school educational programmes, in which the integration of the individual interdisciplinary topics into educational programmes was examined, and into geography teaching more in details. Specific examples of use are analysed according to the individul thematic areas of the geography field of education. In conclusion of the thesis, specific examples are given from selected textbooks that confirm the relation between geography and the individual interdisciplinary topics. The utilization of the School world atlas in interdisciplinary topics

This bachelor work is focused on secondary-school interdisciplinary topics and their tuition with making use of School world atlas. A part of this work is analysis of interdisciplinary topics from General National Curriculum Frameworks for ecodary schools particularly out of geographical view and its comparison with selected foreign curriculum documents. The work also reminds the importance of cartographic skills, their development in the course of studies and their necessity for the correct working with School Atlas of the World. Utilization of School world atlas itself during classes and teaching the interdisciplinary topics is given on various examples. For each interdisciplinary topic there is one selected thematic circle with presentation of factual real assignments which can be applied during lessons and can help to inspire teachers.
