Oscillometric blood pressure measurement
Benešová, Lenka ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Šikner, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of an oscillometric blood pressure measurement method in LabVIEW. It presents the research of blood pressure measurement methods focusing on an oscillometric method. It describes the study of different methods of measuring the systolic and diastolic blood pressure from an oscillometric curve and the implementation of two of these methods in LabVIEW. The accuracy of the implementation was verified with an auscultation technique on 37 measured subjects.
Real-time ECG monitoring
Valentová, Vanessa ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Šikner, Tomáš (advisor)
The key element of ECG signal analysis is the detection of the QRS complex. The QRS complex is the most significant part of the signal. In this work, there is a short summary of methods used for QRS detection in real time. Based on previous research, the detection alghorithm is chosen and created in LabVIEW. The paper is also focused on cardiac arrhytmias. Created alghorithm is used for detecion certain types of arrhytmia. Alghorithm was tested on MIT/BIH arrhytmia database.
Multilead decision rules in detection of QRS complexes
Šikner, Tomáš ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Vítek, Martin (advisor)
QRS complex is the most significant component of the ECG signal. Detection of the QRS complex is the first step to analyze the ECG signal. It serves as a starting point to measure out of the signal. The single-lead detector and the multi-lead detector are carried out in this work. Both detectors are designed in Matlab. The detectors use the characteristic steep slope of the QRS complex to its detection. The detectors were tested on the CSE database.
Detrended fluctuation analysis for heart rate variability analysis
Šikner, Tomáš ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
Heart rate variability analysis can be used for a diagnosis of the cardiac diseases. The HRV analysis methods are divided into linear and nonlinear methods. Time-domain method is one of the simplest method and belongs to linear methods. Detrended fluctuation analysis DFA is nonlinear method made relatively recently. In this paper, it has been done the comparison of these two methods based on the changes detection in HRV caused by an ischemia.
Modelling for ultrasound perfusion imaging
Hracho, Michal ; Šikner, Tomáš (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibilities of determining perfusion parameters of vascular system, using contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging, which is non-invasive method. Properties of ultrasonography and use of contrast agents are briefly summarized. The methods selected for perfusions analysis were Bolus-tracking¬¬, Burst-replenishment and both of them combined – Bolus&Burst. Parametric models based on these methods were created for modelling an approximation of set perfusion parameters with the use of blind deconvolution.
The heartbeat sensor integrated with the computer mouse
Dítě, Martin ; Šikner, Tomáš (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and establish computer mouse with in-build heart beat detector. The principles of photopletysmography were used for detector design. The heart beat detector consists from detector, Arduino, and Matlab program for signal analysis and beat rate computation.
