Špačková, Barbora ; Eislerová, Iva (advisor) ; Pekara, Jaroslav (referee)
Bachelor thesis drala with providing pre-hospital emergency care. Specifically, I focused on the pupils of the 8th and 9th grades of primary schools and their teachers. Purpose of my thesis was to investigate the level theoretical knowledge of primary school pupils and theoretical knowledge and practical skills their teachers in first aid. Further work is to map where both groups obtained their knowledge. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is dividend into individua chapters that deal with first definition of the term first aid, itsdistribution and description of emergency services. Other chapters are then devoted to the general regularities providing first aid. The following is a brief description of each condition requiring first aid, focusing on the most common injuries of children of school age and their treatment. I mention also the intoxication by alcohol and drugs in this age group. The empirical section introduces the methodology and organization of research, I conducted a quantitative method in the form of a questionnaire survey in conjunction with practical drills of basic life support with the teachers. This theme extends to respiratory arrest and blood circulation. It also offers an evaluation of the data and finally an evaluation of the objectives.

Self-identification of social workers with their profession
ŠPAČKOVÁ, Barbora
The bachelor thesis deals with self-identification of social workers with their profession; meant professional identification. In the theoretical part, I defined an assisting profession of social worker and then I made the concept of identification and self-identification. I also mentioned the types of work orientation, because we often meet with the term of mission. I also identified factors that could affect the identification. The last mentioned points are needs and motivation that are indispensable in the process of identifying. The aim was to find out how social workers identify with their profession. In relation to the target issue I determined three research questions. The first one was to determine whether social workers identify with their profession and whether they take it as their vocation. The second question was what has an impact on self-identification. I investigated the influence of selected factors as the status of the profession, requirements (properties) of an employee, the code of ethics, the role of the worker, helplessness of a worker, risks of profession. I derive these factors from literature written by Oldrich Matousek (2007). They are indispensable concepts that are connected to social work. The third and last question, I examined, was what the needs of social workers are and to what extent they are satisfied. I chose a qualitative research. The survey was conducted in the form of narrative interviews, when social workers narrated me the story from their career choices to the current practice, if they take their job as a mission. They commented the selected factors affecting self-identification and told me their needs in employment. The research sample consisted of social workers from organizations that are in the South of Bohemia. The criterion was the practice, which had to be at least 5 years long because I demanded greater experience in this profession. I did not take into account if they identify with the work or not. The research brings findings. Ten narrative interviews were realized, from which the case reports were made, as a summary report, which leaves only the important information in relation to research of this work (Hendl, 2016). The survey was conducted from mid-April to the end of June 2016. The benefit of this work is to show the influence of satisfied employees on the organization, and to get this point into the mind of employers, and to show how important it is to satisfy their needs in order to identify with their profession. After the completion of the research, I can say that the level of self-identification of social workers is determined by the satisfaction of individual needs of individual employees. If individual needs are satisfied enough, then a worker rather accepts his/her profession as part of their identity.

The breeding and economic analysis of cattle rearing in selected agricultural enterprise
ŠPAČKOVÁ, Barbora
The aim of my diploma work (assignment) was to observe and evaluate the level and the perspective of breeding cattle on a small farm. The observation and evaluation lasted for four years - from 2008 to 2011. Both economical and breeding results were observed. On the first point economic, it is obvious that in all observed categories, i.e. cows with milk production, heifer, calves and bulls fattening, farming is unprofitable in comparison monitored indicators ÚZEI. The results show high costs, especially the costs of feed consumption, internal services and overheads. This is very uneconomical and the farm should endeavour to reduce these costs. In the category of fattening bulls was a loss of profitability negative (in red numbers) in all four years. However, my recommendation is that farm should pay more attention to meat production than to dairy production. So far the farm has successfully managed to top up the net loss from breeding animals by plant based production. In my opinion it is not possible to continue in this manner, e.g. due to extreme weather changes or prices for the production. Nowadays, the most stable are grants which farmers receive. These grants are used to cover losses and thank to them many farmers are still farming (in agriculture/ doing what they do).
