Body Scheme Perception Evaluation in Stroke Patients

Title: Body Scheme Perception Evaluation in Stroke Patients Abstract: This theoretical thesis provides a comprehensive view of the area of body perception disorders in occupational therapy practice with emphasis on the diagnosis of this disorder in patients after a stroke. The introduction describes the issue of stroke, body scheme, including its disorders, the effects of these disorders and the possibilities of occupational therapy intervention. The main part of the work consists of outputs containing an overview of diagnostic methods created on the basis of a systematic search. The result of this overview is a table that summarizes the basic characteristics of the detected diagnostic tools. The work also includes a one-way translation by Catherine Bergego Scale - specifically a functional evaluation of personal (peripersonal and extrapersonal) neglect and a self-assessment questionnaire revealing anosognosia in neglect. Occupational therapy interventions for pediatric patients with the epidermolysis bullosa congenita

The aim of the thesis is to describe possibilities of occupational therapy interventions for pe- diatric patients with the Epidermolysis bullosa congenita. The theoretical part includes the issue of Epidermolysis bullosa congenita including current diagnostics and therapy in the Czech republic. This part also desribes the possibilities of occupational therapy diagnostics and intervention. The practical part includes firstly the translation of the questionnaire "Parental Questionnaire on Coping Skills of Children with EB in Everyday Life" into Czech langugage, secondly case report of a pedi- atric patient with Epidermolysis bullosa congenita and thirdly occupational therapy intervention ma- nual for children with EB. So far, the occupational therapist is not a common part of the multidisci- plinary EB treatment team, although his scope is broad and can significantly improve quality of life. Decision-Making Processes in a particular Firm or an Institution

The topic of the thesis are decision-making processes in a particular firm or an institution. The chosen company, located in Tábor, is engaged in design, production and subsequent servicing of telecommunications and security systems. The work is divided into three parts. The first will describe the company, the second part is theoretical containing the characteristics of managerial decision and all the information necessary for the third practical part. The practical section provides flowcharts for installation and servicing of equipment and subsequently describes the decision-making processes occurring upon receipt of customer requirements, making quotations up to installation of a particular solution. It concerns the selection of suppliers, responsible employee, determining payment terms and considering the possibility of cooperation with other legal entities. In conclusion, there are recommendations for the management of the company.
