Žabovřesky Meadows

In my master’s thesis I focus on some of the challenges we will face in this century. I would like to investigate whether new lanscape, new building typology (vertical farm) and new methods of agriculture (permaculture, hydroponic, aeroponic and aquaponic systems, meat in vitro, and NASA research) could be the answer to questions concerning sustainable development, urban population increase, cities food supply, consumption habits of people, climate changes, CO2 emissions, ecological footprint and biocapacity.
Zašová - monastery in the hands of the public

The project deals with the reconstruction of the former monastery Trinitářského of the order and of the downstream area of the village Zašová. The purpose of remodeling is to create a proposal, which would consist of center socially needed social services and sufficiently, would use the hidden potential of the premises. The subject of the solution are, in particular, objects owned by the municipality, i.e. the actual monastery building, a former school building of the economic objects and the extensive convent garden. In solution is also included consideration of intending over the potential involvement of the parish building and the baroque church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary into the overall idea of the concept. The whole design is trying to cater to the needs of the community, and to highlight also its development potential in the context of the wider surrounding area.
NEW ON THE „OLD“ – Brno, Bratislavská - Stará Corner

This bachelor thesis deals with study of built corner of Bratislavská Street and Stará Street in Brno. Two perpendicular to each materials of the house opened concurrence of these streets. Next, create a public space, square, with the potential to be the centre of this interesting district. The house with rear wall borders with a gable and a blank wall of the building of the Police of the Czech Republic. The second material creates an internal block neighbouring buildings on the street Stará. The northern part is lifted above the ground and the light colour of the facade the modelling of inducing strip windows creates an impression of lightness. In contrast, the second material of the house stands firmly on the ground. It has a dark facade with brick cladding. This part of Brno is experiencing in the present replacement, when a poor and dangerous neighbourhood becoming a "good" neighbourhood. After a long time finally reconstruct the beautiful old houses and straight near the centre gives the place a great potential. On the other hand, it also leads to long-term residents, in this case mainly Roma, must move. The concept of the proposal is to offer small, economically affordable apartments. Incorporate, not set aside.
NEW ON THE „OLD“ – Brno, Bratislavská - Stará Corner

Project is based on the fact that the parcel is currently vacant lot corner. In this case, it was logical to fill the resulting vacant lot and so complete the existing street parter. Another factor that influenced the design, the absence square around the site. The result is a complex of five separate residential buildings on the same ground raised ground floor, which creates a residential area on the roof, thereby reducing the final height of residential buildings. Breakdown mass was slightly influenced by the shape of battlements - The space between buildings give the possibility vistas, broken mass into smaller units and allow the penetration of sunlight across the facade of the existing buildings. Connecting the base with a residential building on the first floor is supported by material facades modulation, creating a distinctive line orbiting the border area and emphasizing the integrity of the complex.
Conversion of selected parts of the former Voršila monastery and the adjacent city block area in the Brno city centre - architectural and urban study

The project deals with the reconstruction of selected parts of the former Ursuline convent and reconstruction of the monastery gardens and the adjacent area of a city block in the city center. Emphasis is placed on new functional use of the monastery premises and its gardens. The newly designed feature in the monastery are divided into three main parts - Halfway House, Coworking and Elementary Art School (artistically oriented). Opening the monastery gardens to the public enhances the attractiveness of the monastery. Below the garden is designed to underground parking, which minimizes the problem with parking in the city center.
