Implementation of OLAP Analysis for BUT Libraries
Mahdalíček, Josef ; Ruttkay, Ladislav (referee) ; Šárfy, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this project is to create tool for OLAP analysis over operational data of BUT libraries. This OLAP tool answers ie. query how long were users having loaned books. These queries could be specified by time period (year, month), library (ie. FIT library) and other dimensions. Only some, for this application interesting, tables from source database are used. Tables were exported into text files in csv format. According to project specification, system for OLAP analysis should be open source. Tool Mondrian accomplishes this requirement and was  used in this work. Data warehouse is represented by relational database MySQL. ETL tool feeds data warehouse by data from exported files. User interface is used from internet browser and is implemented by component JPivot. Query results are displayed in tables and graphs.
Editor of Relational Tables
Boháč, Martin ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Šárfy, Martin (advisor)
The thesis describes development of editor, which allow users to effective browse   and manage data of database. It advert used technoligies and possible   alternatives accesible on market. Next part attend to describe of implementation   and methods of solving implement problems. The rest of this work is set to   posibilites of extension and using in different departments
Editor of Relational Tables
Macák, Martin ; Urbanovský, Pavel (referee) ; Šárfy, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with aspects of using the common, universal relational table editor as a simple information system, which would be fully independent on the underlying database system and partially independent on the underlying's database schema. One part of this thesis deals with potential of using such universal information system to create a framework to allow fast and easy development of small and medium information systems. The practical part of this thesis is the application, which implements the basics of simple relational table editor, which is fully independent on the underlying database provider and schema and servers as the demonstrative table editor.
