Řezáč, Jan ; Polesná, Kateřina (referee) ; Holcner, Petr (advisor)
The subject of my thesis was traffic-engineering solution to the crossroads of the streets Osvobození - Podřevnická in several options. For these options were designed needed construction adjustment next was selected one option and after taht was carried out capacity assessment of the crossroads in accordance with relevant technical regulations. To verify the capacity assessment was carried out simulations using the proposed variants Aimsun.

Optimization of Semiempirical Quantum Mechanical Methods for in Silico Drug Design
Kříž, Kristian ; Řezáč, Jan (advisor) ; Klimeš, Jiří (referee) ; Kolář, Michal (referee)
Optimization of Semiempirical Quantum Mechanical Methods for in Silico Drug Design Doctoral thesis Kristian Kříž The subject of this thesis is the optimization of semiempirical quantum mechanical methods (SQM) for their use in in silico drug design. The thesis covers two topics - COSMO2 solvation model optimization part and PLF547, PLA15 dataset development part. The first part is devoted to the optimization of COSMO solvation model by addition of a nonpolar term and reparametrization of the model for SQM methods PM6 and PM7. We have shown that the accuracy of the resulting "COSMO2" optimized model improved on all the tested datasets and we have compared it to other selected SQM solvation models. The method has also been tested on the protein ligand complexes as a part of a scoring function, where it provides better preditction of binding affinity of drug candidates for their target protein. The second part of the thesis describes the construction of datasets for noncovalent interactions aimed speicificly to represent an environment of an enyzme active site complexed with a ligand with reliable benchmark values of interaction energies in vacuum and solvent (water). The developed PLF547 and PLA15 datasets are suitable for testing and development of methods for the use in drug design. We have...
Figure portrayal in Czech painting of the second third of the 19 century in European context
Řezáč, Jan ; Prahl, Roman (advisor) ; Machalíková, Pavla (referee) ; Musil, Roman (referee)
In my Ph.D. Thesis I suggest methodological approach to the figural painting of the middle of the 19 century, creation of the Czech painter Josef Manes in particular. In this period figural artists still learned to copy historic models in both academic and non-academic institutions. But the figure starts to be also presented as identifying element of the society, newly establishing nations in particular. Also emancipation of artists and their effort for conceptual expression (self-representation) is reflected in the presented figural form. Painting of the European late romanticism is characterised by adoptions of Michelangelo's and manieristic way of portrayal of human body. Thus there is a remarkable shift from so far popular classical Raffaelo's renaissance figure. For Josef Manes, usually only graphic patterns were available. In this thesis I also analyse Manes's anthropomorfisations and his tendencies to deform anatomic proportions of depicted figures. I show that these features of Manes's art have social, mental and formal background. I aimed to find interpretations of Manes's artistic approach, probably influenced by ideas from Munich, Düsseldorf and Vienna. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Quantum-chemical and Molecular-dynamical Study of Noncovalent interactions
Řezáč, Jan ; Hobza, Pavel (advisor) ; Havlas, Zdeněk (referee) ; Otyepka, Michal (referee)
Introduction First part of thc thcsis summarizcs rcsults of our studics of noncovalcnt intcractions, invcstigatcd bl cfficicnt computational mcthods. Noncovalcnt interactions are rveaker than covalent bonds, but it does not mean they are iess important. It is cspccialh' ttuc in biornolcculcs - their primary structurc is simple, they are composed from limited number of building blocks. \X/hat detetmines theit strucrure and birllogical functirrn are noncovalent interacťions. Ma)or part of this lr'ork is ... Structure and funcúon of thc DNÁ molecule is determined by interaction oínucleic acid bases, which can bc studicd using quantum-mechanical methods. Iinorvlcdgc of stabiliry of thc DN:\ doublc hclix, mcasurcd as frcc cncrgy of its unwinding (dissociation, denaturation). is irnporrant not only for understanding of the function of DN,\, but also for ri'orking rvith DN''\ in laboratory. Stabiliry of DNA oligomers is knos'n do be dependent on sequence of nucleotides and can be cstimatcd using cmpincal statistical modcls. In ru'o papcrs prcsented herc, wc investigated the relationship bets'een interaction betrveen DN;\ bases, which can be readilv calculated, and experimental\' evaluated stabiliry of DNA oligomcrs. Long DN;\ molecule is structure large enough to be mechanically manipulatcd, tbr...

Struktura veřejných výdajů v ČR a jejich analýza
Řezáč, Jan ; Urbánek, Václav (advisor) ; Šiplová, Jaroslava (referee)
Diplomová práce na úvod charakterizuje veřejné výdaje, projekty a programy a dále se stručně zmiňuje o veřejných příjmech a fiskální nerovnováze. V další části se zabývá strukturou veřejných výdajů, včetně rozpočtových pravidel a rozpočtové skladby. V hlavní části sleduje vývoj a rostoucí trend veřejných výdajů státního rozpočtu a územních rozpočtů, porovnává příjmy a výdaje a zmiňuje se o růstu dluhu. V závěru se snaží nastínit možná opatření zamezující neustálý růst veřejných výdajů.
