Dynamic tensiometry of biocolloids
Kulilová, Pavlína ; Mašek, David (oponent) ; Pekař, Miloslav (vedoucí práce)
Hyaluronic acid is currently one of the biomolecules with great interest which is widely used in medicine and cosmetics and its investigation is very important for future use. The aim of this work was to investigate the surface behavior, using dynamic tensiometry method, of different systems namely hyaluronic acid, its hydrophobic derivatives and SDS solutions for comparison. These compounds were investigated in water and in sodium counterions. The observed systems were measured in various concentration ranges under the laboratory temperature. It was performed two methods employing a BPA-800P Bubble Pressure Tensiometer which is completely new apparatus and new technique of tensiometry measuring. There were proposed some experiments for biocolloids research to find usable possibilities of this apparatus for next research works. Results of thesis show single surfactants differences depending on their concentration and used environment. Hyaluronic acid exhibits no surface activity in contrast to its derivatives and SDS.
Colloid properties of hyaluronane sols
Krouská, Jitka ; Mašek, David (oponent) ; Pekař, Miloslav (vedoucí práce)
The objective of this thesis was to describe aggregation properties of hyaluronic acid (HA) and its hydrophobically modified derivates. For this purpose, two HA derivates in aqueous solutions differing in degree of substitution and anorganic salt environment were prepared. The concentration series of pure HA and its derivates were studied by two methods, tensiometry and spectrophotometry. The surface properties were measured with Du Noüy ring. The solubilization behaviour in water and sodium chloride media was also investigated with the probes, the Coomassie Brilliant Blue and Sudan III dyes. The result is that the amphiphilic HA derivates may indeed establish hydrophobic associations in bulk solution while adsorbing at the air–water interface. This property is important when talked about drug delivery systems, because the hydrophobic domains in the aggregates of HA derivates may be used as a delivery system for hydrophobic drugs. Critical aggregation concentrations of HA derivates were obtained from tensiometric and spectrophotometric measurement and these concentrations correspond directly to the concentration in which the hydrophobic domains occur.
Cviky a motorické testy silových schopností používané k výcviku a testování vojenského personálu: systematická rešerše
Mašek, David ; Vágner, Michal (vedoucí práce) ; Maleček, Jan (oponent)
Název: Cviky a motorické testy silových schopností používané k výcviku a testování vojenského personálu: systematická rešerše. K počátečnímu výběru potencionálně vhodných studií byl sestaven skript, pomocí kterého proběhlo vyhledávání vhodných studií v databázích Web of Science, Scopus a PubMed. Pro následné doplnění proběhlo nesystematické vyhledávání v databázi Google Scholar. U vybraných studií byla posouzena kritéria pro zařazení do systematické rešerše včetně jejich metodické kvality. Výsledky: U testování silových schopností vojenského personálu byla největší četnost zaznamenána u motorických testů, kde odpor tvořila hmotnost vlastního těla (kliky, sedy-lehy a shyby). Dále byla zjištěna převaha testování silové...
