Analysis of readiness of Czech republic for accepting unified European currency

My Bachelor's study called "Analysis of readiness of Czech republic for accepting unified European currency" tries to deal with the issue of Czech republic entering the eurozone. The first part briefly mentions history of European monetary integration. The second chapter describes the Maastricht criteria and tries to measure how much is Czech republic successful in fullfiling these criteria. The following chapter describes the OCA theory, which later generated so called real convergence criteria. Firstly I will mention factors, that have an ability to prevent economic shocks. Secondly I will expand on mechanisms that are able to lower the effects of economic shock. Furthermore I will characterise the readiness of Czech republic for the sole proces of euro entering the circulation. The last chapter will define and compare possible positive and negative efects related to accepting the european currency. In the end I will summarise the fullfilment of both nominal and real convergence criteria.

The historic gold-mining in Pootaví

To the development of my Diploma Thesis the literature dealing with the issue of the history of gold mining in Pootaví and natural conditions of the region was used. The thesis more closely specifies various historical stages of gold mining in this area and the procedures and methods used by them. The first intensive panning work and the first part of the underground works belong to the 5th century BC. Furthermore, it was found that the most intensive period of mining in this area took place in 13th - 14th century. Major panning works were completed in the course of the 16th century, underground works were finished later, with the exception of the area of Kašperské Hory, where underground mining continued until the beginning of the 20th century. In the last century geological surveys of the paddies found gold in small quantities, which excluded mining from the economical point of view. Geological exploration of the underground deposits of gold in Kašperské Hory was prematurely terminated under the pressure of the public. The practical part consists of conducted panning experiments at several locations using panning pelvis and panning sluice. At all the locations, except one, was the occurrence of gold detected, but in such a small quantities excluding profitable mining from the surface areas.

John Duns Scotus' critique of the analogy of the concept of being

The work is primary focused on John Duns Scotus' argumentation for the univocity of the concept of being, as is presented in his Lectura and Ordinatio. The first part briefly presents the realistic theory of the concept, wich serves as a framework of all examined discusion. Then, in the second part, we very briefly eximine Aristotelian theory of analogy and the aporia generis. The end of this part presents Henry of Gent?s theory of analogy, and its noetical postulates. The third part, the main one, deals with Scotus? arguing against the analogy of the concept of being, and presents the main points of his theory of the univocity of being: the definiton of the univocal concept, the concept of being that is univocialy applicable to both an infinite and a finite being; and his formal and modal disctinction. Last part again simply points out to the main Scotus? thoughts and also to some problems of his theory.

Civilization´s problematic in the 21st Century

The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The practical part represents a series of paintings in which the author is engaged in transcription of personal experiences and impressions of the world marked by a human phenomenon. The theoretical part discusses the quest for the ultimate artistic output and initiatives, which led the author to comment on this topic. In the context of finding appropriate means of expression for the final artistic output, the author reflects on the diversity of artistic approaches and methods used in the presentation of issues of civilization in the world of art.

Two peptides (macropine-1 and macropin-2) were isolated, their structure determined by Edman degradation and mass spectrometry, which exhibited potent antimicrobial activity against both Gram-positive and -negative bacteria and moderate hemolytic activity against rat erythrocytes. We prepared several MAC-1 analogs to study the effect of their structure on antimicrobial and hemolytic activities.

Motivation Factors of Foreign Tourists towards Travelling to the Czech Republic

This diploma paper is devoted to the fundamental questions concerning motivation for coming to Prague, Czech Republic, the questionnaire analyses further details about incoming tourism. At the beginning of the paper there is a description of the destination CR. Characteristics of the incoming tourism is coming next. Afterwards a theoretical opening to motivation the questionnaire follows. One hundred respondents replied on questions regarding their stay in Prague. These data are then compared with a similar past questionnaire. The motivation for coming to Prague is researched based on these data.

Současná švédská ekonomika

Tato bakalářská práce se pokouší o charakteristiku švédské ekonomiky, určení silných a slabých stránek současné ekonomiky. Na začátku práce je možné se dočíst o makroekonomických ukazatelích švédského hospodářství ve srovnání s EU. Následně je rozebírána struktura ekonomiky až po jednotlivé sektory. Na ty navazuje mezinárodní obchod, například směnné relace a obchodní bilance. Poslední kapitola analyzuje úspěchy a výzvy pro švédské hospodářství a je zakončena jeho předpokládaným vývojem.
