Intraindividual comparison of selected indicators of coordinating steps on the skating step and on the in-line step
Hospůdka, Jakub ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor) ; Süss, Vladimír (referee)
4 Summary: Title: Intraindividual comparison of selected indicators of coordinating steps on the ice skating and in-line. Objective: Assessment of coordination relationship rate of the skating forward during ice hockey and inline skating. Methods: Surface electromyography combinated with kinematography analysis used synchronized video recording. Results: Kinesiological content of movement during ice skating and inline skating is not the same. The general stereotype of the skating step is significantly different from the walking stereotype. Key words: human locomotion, sport locomotion, phylogeny, ontogeny, surface electromyography, ice hockey skating, inline skating.
Analysis and comparasion of squat exercise due to surface EMG
Orava, Boris ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor) ; Jebavý, Radim (referee)
ABSTRACT  Title of dissertation: Analysis and comparasion of squat exercise due to surface EMG  Objectives of dissertation: To measure and describe the structure involving specific muscles durring back squat, front squat and smith machine squat exercise.  Method: Surface EMG analysis and simple kinematic analysis.  Results: Activation of m. gluteus maximus was highest after the start of excentric movement. Main muscle working on the chase between the concentric and excentric movement was m. rectus femoris. Very similar timing and synergy were between m. erector spinae and m. biceps femoris. In this study was not higher activation of m. quadriceps femoris during front squat exercise, activation of m. gluteus maximus were also higher.  Key words: squat, strengthening, bar, front squat, back squat, Smith machine squat, bodybuilding, weightlifting, powerlifting, EMG analysis, kinematic analysis 6
Nordic Walking - muscle response at movement apparatus in pelvis area
Hrouzová, Lenka ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor) ; Satrapová, Lenka (referee)
3 Abstract: Title: Nordic walking - muscle response at movement apparatus in pelves area. Purposes: The aim of the thesis is to compare muscle timing in pelves area using EMG during free bipedal walk and during the walk with special sticks. Methods: Surface electromyography combinated with kinematografy analysis used synchronized video recording. Results: It Managed to prove different muscle timing at Nordic walking and at free walk. It was proved lower activity of stabilization muscles at walk with sticks. Key words: Nordic walking, surface electromyography, stabilization muscles, kinematics analysis, bipedal locomotion
Kinesiolgy analysis of function selected muscles of upper limb after brest augmentation
Víšková, Anna ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor) ; Véle, František (referee)
Summary: Title: Kinesiologic analysis of function of selected upper limb muscles after female breast augmentation Objectives: The aim of this research is to analyze the functionality and scope of involvement of the injured muscles due to plastic surgical augmentation procedure at pre-selected physical activities before and after surgery a few months later (specifically, three months - the time the patient left the recovery) using a noninvasive surface electromyography (EMG). Methods: A Case Study measuring method of noninvasive surface electromyography in combination with the method of temporal phase shifts involved in the activation of muscle movement, accompanied by a support method of integrated EMG. Results: There differences have been observed in the timing of individual muscles measured during performing selected testing exercises before and after completion of the augmentation plastic surgery operatios. Furthermore, the possibility of the loss of muscle strength has been detected by some measured muscles and this has the potential to take over functions of damaged muscles. Key words: plastic surgery, female breast augmentation, surface electromyography, upper limb muscles, musculus pectoralis major
Muscle activity in shoulder girdle during the Nordic Walking
Tlašková, Petra ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor) ; Véle, František (referee)
Title: Muscle activity in shoulder gidle during the Nordic Walking Purposes: The aim ofthe thesis is to compare muscle timing in shoulder girdle during the Nordic Walking and during a free bipedal walk. Methods: Surface electromyography combinated with kinematography analysis used synchronized video recording. Results: As the research shows, there is a difference in muscle timing between the NW and free bipedal walk. lt was proveď that the activity NW has more locomotive character than in free bipedal walk. Key words: Nordic Walking, shoulder girdle, Surface electromyography, kinematics analysis, free bipedal walk.
Analysis of the work of muscle chains during snowboarding
Teichmanová, Barbora ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor) ; Novotný, Petr (referee)
Summary: Activity of the selected muscles during snowboarding and differences between drift and carving turns The study deals with differences in muscles activity between drift and carving turns during snowboarding. The surface EMG electrodes were used for the EMG activity recording. The measured data were transferred into a PC computer for a consequent evaluation using KAZE5 software. The movements during the tUi:ns were synchronously recorded using a digital camcorder. Each phase of the movement was complemented with a corresponding EMG activity. The aim of the study was to analyse the synchronous EMG activity and the spatial movement of the selected muscles during a single turn cycle, i.e. a backside and a frontside turn). In the majority of the selected muscles, the EMG activity during carving turn was significantly higher than the activity during drift turn. The highest EMG activity was recorded during backside turn in two muscles: mm.gastrocnemii and mm. tibiales. We also recorded local maximum of m. obliquus abdominis ant. dx. during carving backside turn. Further more, the EMG curve of m. obliquus abdominis ant. sin. is very similar to the EMG curve ofm. gastrocnemius sin. Keywords: drift turn, carving turn, muscle chain, electromyography (EMG), posture, muscle activation. - 5-
Counterrotation of the trunk at basic turns on snowboard
Šimurda, Ivo ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor) ; Novotný, Petr (referee)
Title: Counten·otation ofthe trunk at basic tums on snowboard. Aim ofthesis: Aim ofmy thesis is with EMG measure activities ofmuscles in snowboards basic curves and evaluate obtained data. Method: EMG meausuring in copany with cinematographical analysis with the aid of synchronised videorecord. Results: In a confrontation oftwo kinds snowboards curves, experts called like true and false, we demonstrate periodical moving of muscles performance by m. obliquus abdominis extemus dexter and m. pectoralis major dexter. It bears to our opinions about antagonistics working this part of movements system by mentioned types of curves. Key words: muscels chains, electromyography, snowboarding, counterrotation. 3
