The relationship between strength ratios of hip abductors, adductors, internal, external rotators and speed of shouting in ice hockey players

Title: Relation between power ratios of adductors, abductors, external and internal hip rotators at shooting speed of ice hockey players Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to find out the relationship between the rate of fire on the ice and the strength abilities of the hand and hip rotators Methods: The research group consisted of 20 adult probands (age = 24.8 ± 3.4; height = 181 cm ± 6.13 cm; weight = 80.1 kg ± 9.9 kg). The research took place in the summer preparation period after the season. The laboratory tests were carried out at the Charles University FTVS under the supervision of qualified and trained experts. An isokinetic dynamometer (Cybex NORM ®, Humac, CA, USA) was used to test external and internal rotators. A hand isometric dynamometer (Takei 5401) was used to evaluate the handgrip. Field tests were conducted on the ice, where the rate of fire was recorded using radar (V-max). Results: The results showed a significant degree of association between SBN and SVN shooting and rotator force at concentric contraction (30ř∙s-1 , 90ř∙s-1 ) for the dominant leg, reaching values (r = 0.45) for the angular velocity of 30ř∙s-1 and at higher angular velocities it assumed values (r = 0.44 and 0.54). Title Ball flight control with wedges in amateur golf players Objectives The aim of the study was to determine level of ball's flight distance control and its relaitionship to the current and long-term performance of the elite amateur golfers. Methods The research sample was consisted of 10 selected right-handed golfers of the elite amateur level (age = 22 ± 3 years, height 186 ± 13 cm, weight 81 ± 20.5 kg, HCP 1,2 ± 3,4). Probands task was to hit 15 strokes. At each of the tested distances (45 m, 55 m, 65 m, 75 m and 85 m) the player played three strokes. The TrackMan 4 3D Doppler Radar (TrackMan, Denmark) was used to determine tested parameters. The results were recorded in individual protocols and then processed in Microsoft Excel, which was also used to obtain basic statistics: mean, standard deviation, variation range, and percentage deviation from the target. Percentage deviation from target was calculated as a percentage of total deviation from target distance. We used program R v3.5.2 (Vienna, Austria) for statistical evaluation of the relationship between ball distance control and performance. Title: A comparison of the level of physical abilities of older school age players in the sport games Objectives: This thesis is aiming to find out different levels of motor skills among childen of older school age in several sport disciplines. The goal of this project is to compare those skills amongst selected games and the norm of the test battery Methods: The reaserch was conducted by form of testing according to the test battery uniffited test 6-60, Which consisted of ones height and body weight and tests to find out the levels of motor skills. Results: While comparing the result of floorball ice hockey and basketball the players of ice hockey achieved the best performance values, which won in 3 of 4 measured categories. Assessment of physical activity, physical fitness and motor skills in young football players

Title: Level of physical activity, motor skills and physical ability of young football players Author: Filip Zitta Supervisor: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn, Ph.D. Objectives: The goal is to conduct weekly monitoring of physical activity, to determine the level of physical fitness and motor skills Methods: Target market of the thesis are consisted of FK Příbram players (n = 28; age 10.3 ± 0.7 years). The Actigraph GT3X accelerometers were used to obtain the necessary data about the motion activity. To determine the level of fitness, the Unifittest 6-60 was used and a TGMD-2 TES was used to determine the level of motor skills. Results: The average daily time spent in medium or high activity was set at 80 min and exceeded the daily recommended amount. In the fitness test, 43% of children reached a rating above average and 35.7% below average. The rest reached the average rating. In a motor skills test, no one was rated well or very well. The above-average rating reached only 7%. Most children (42.9%) Was assessed on average, only 17.8% were rated weakly or very weakly. Title: The effect of small sided games on agility performance in pre-adolescent soccer players Objectives: Evaluation of the impact of small sided games intervention on the agility performance. Comparison between agility performance and motor skills level. Comparison between increase of agility performance and motor skills level. Method: The measured group consisted of 44 players aged 11-13. During the testing, the players passed a battery of motor skills tests TGMD 2, then the agility tests Illinois and 505 R and L (pretest and posttest). The first group of players (22 players) were subjected an interrvention of small sided games (three times a week for 2 months as part of the training session). The 2nd group of players (22 players) had only regular training during this period without intentional intervention. The results: According to the results of the motor skills test TGMD 2, the probands were divided into 3 subgroups according to the achieved performance. In both groups (intervened and control groups) the hypothesis, that players with higher level of motor skills will achieve better results in agility tests, was partially confirmed. Finding the relationship between fundamental motor skills and special game skills at football players (9-10 years)

Title: Finding the relationship between fundamental motor skills and special game skills of football players (9 - 10 years) Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to find out the correlation between fundamental motor skills and special game skills of football players in the category U10 and U11. Methods: The method of observation - measurement was used in this thesis. The researched group consisted of 26 players in the categories U10 and U11 (average age 10.4 ± 0.7 years) from the football club SK Střešovice 1911. The level of fundamental motor skills was assessed by using TGMD-2. Level of specific game skills in football was detected by following tests: slalom, pass in running and accuracy of shooting. Results: Significant relationship was found (r = 0.48, p < 0.05) between the level of basic motor skill and special game skills in football. The results proved, that the level of specific game skills was significantly influenced by manipulation skills (r = 0.53; p < 0.001) compared to locomotion skills (r = 0.40; p < 0.05). In motor level testing was found that 61 % (n = 16) of players have a below average level of funadamental motor skills. Title: The differences in skating performance by training of changes of directional speed and partial skating tasks in U12 ice hockey players Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to compare the effectivity of training of ice skating while using exercises of changes of directional speed and training of partial skating tasks and its influence on speed-skilful test within players of senior school age (U12). At the same time, I am trying to compare which of methods regarding the development of ice skating's skill is more effective whether it is a method in whole (skilful exercises) or a method in parts (development of skating elements). Methods: Method of quantitative analysis of results of eight ice-skating tests performed on players of senior school age was utilized in the thesis. The tested sample was formed by thirteen players from sixth grade of the HC Slavia Praha team. The study includes three test measurements. Title: The influence of breathing techniques on lifted load during the bench-press Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to determine the differences in total volume of lifted load during the bench-press exercise with resistance of 1RM, 4RM, 8RM and 12RM, while using different breathing techniques (VM - Valsalva maneuver, PAC - lung packing, HB - hold breath, RB - reverse breathing and FBP - flat bench-press combined with free-breathing pattern) in intermediate and advanced athletes of resistance training. Methods: A method of randomized experimental research, done in predetermined laboratory conditions, was used during the evaluation of the differences between breathing patterns. A method of analysis was used to evaluate the collected data. Results: The result of this thesis were a significant changes in total lifted load during the bench-press exercise with resistance of 1RM, 4RM, 8RM and 12RM, while using the RB techinque (p<0,05). Title: Relationship between hip muscles and dynamics front kick while using ballistic vest and backpack. Objective: Determine the rate of the relationship among isokinetic strength of hip muscles during flexion and extension movement, external and internal rotation and the dynamics of the front kick while using the military personal protective equipment. The method: The master thesis corresponds with an empirically based study of observational type. The measured research sample consisted of students (n = 15) of Military Department attending full-time and combined form of study at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University in Prague. The relationship of stickhandling and skating agility with puck at eleve players

Title: The relationship of stickhandling and agility skating with puck at eleve players. Objectives: The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to compare and establish the relationship between the level of stickhandling and the skating speed with puck in players of younger school age, ascertained by means of testing on the ice rink. Methods: In the research, we used Spearman's correlation coefficient to compare the results between the level of simple manipulation control with puck and the difference in skating speeds without the puck and with the puck. Furthermore, the difference of the probands between the time of the best attempts with the puck and without the puck was based on the success of the test simple manipulation control with puck. We determined the level of the Test of Gross Motor Development, TGMD-2. Results: The results show a correlation of the simple test of the manipulation control with the puck to agility tests on the ice rink (test around the circles r= -0,50; slalom test r= -0,72; test in circle r= -0,61). In addition, there was founded a lesser time difference in test of agility without the puck and with the puck at players with a higher skill in handling the puck.
