Design of heating and ventilation system for two-storey family house after renovation

The thesis is focused on the design of the reconstruction of a house built in the 70s of the last century. Part of this work is an introduction with the current state of the object and calculation of the appropriate heat losses. In the next step, renovations containing building insulation, replacement windows and doors, replacement of the heating system and the installation of air conditioning are made. Based on the design of the adjustments are again calculated heat losses and a comparation of energy savings is made. Another part of the proposal focuses in detail on heating system and its regulation. The final chapter deals with the design of the ventilation device using heat recovery. Attachments contain detailed calculations and necessary documentation.
VRF system

Master's thesis "VRF system" aims on the energy simulation of energy needs for HVAC system of one floor of the FSI NetMe Research Centre building and followed evaluation of the advantage of using VRF system with heat recovery function. The first part is a theoretical introduction, which describes the basics of the mechanical refrigeration, following the differences and ways of functioning of the VRF system with heat recovery function. Practical part of this work is aimed on the description of the way of data input into the simulation tool. Finally, the results of the simulation and economical comparation of the VRF system and the existing four-pipe cold and warm water distribution system are presented
Air source heat pump

The master's thesis is focused on heat pumps as a device using sources of a low-potential heat for building's heating. There are individual types of these devices characterized by a principle of operation and used media. Main focus of this thesis is a design of a compact air-water heat pump for the company PZP HEATING a.s. consisting of a cooling circulation’s design and individual components of this circulation. Finally there is a proposal of the heat pump’s case presented at the end of this work.
Ventilation and heating in a retrofitted farmhouse

The aim of thesis is to design the heating and ventilation system for reconstructed part of the farmhouse. Thesis contains calculation of the object heat output, from which the design of the heating system is based. This includes to choice of heat sources, heaters and others components of the system. Thesis also contains hydraulic regulation of heating system. Design of equal-pressure ventilation system includes calculation of required amount of air, choice of unit, air conduit draft and options of terminal components and their settings. In the framework of this thesis is also designed simple photovoltaic system for warming hot water. There was created relevant drawing documentation for design of systems.
Possibilities of energy exploitation of biomass - biogas production

Objective of this Bachelor thesis is to describe production of energy from biomass, using anaerobic fermentation and biogas production. It describes this entire process from theoretical and practical point of view. The last chapter contains an evaluation of this energy production in context of its economical returns.
Ventilation and air-conditioning in a mixed-use building with dental offices

The aim of the master’s thesis was to design ventilation and cooling systems in a three-storey mixed-use building, which contained three apartments and two dentists’ surgeries. Two independent ventilation systems were designed in the building, with respect to different purposes of the indoor spaces. The mechanical cooling system was proposed in some of the rooms to improve thermal comfort in summer. The thesis includes calculations of building heat gains, heat losses, air exchange rates and the dimensioning of the ventilation and cooling systems. The thesis also comprises design calculations and technical drawing.
Heating of hot water by systme base on photovoltaic panels

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to compare specific types of regulation for the effective heating water with using photovoltaic panels for the standard household. The follow types of regulation was taken into account: the MPPT controller, switching of load, switching of pannels connection and PWM regulator. The second part of the thesis is focused on design of photovoltaic system for domestic hot water heating which is designed for climatic conditions in Polička near Svitavy.

The diploma thesis is consisting of theoretic part, which deals with used ventilating systems, describes basic types of air-conditioning systems and basic characteristics and diversification of radiant cooling systems. Following part attend to design of ventilating system and radiant cooling system for cooling of the flat. Design of the ventilation systém is based on minimum air flow per person. Design of the radiant cooling system is based on calculation of thermal loads. Design documentation is part of the diploma thesis as well as the calculations made in excel.

The topic of the bachelor’s thesis Car air conditioning is a review of current car air conditioning systems. The development of the systems from inception to the present days is briefly described. Further more function and structure of the systems are described. The bachelor’s thesis pays attention to the structure and function of particular components. The progress of the coolant is also commented because that is an inseparable part of car air conditioning systems. The bachelor’s thesis also comments the impact of using car air conditioner on the total fuel consumption.
Heat exchangers for air-conditioning

The thesis is divided into 2 parts. The first part deals with classification and characterization of heat exchangers. The sizing process of plate heat exchangers is described and demonstrated in the second part. Obtained results are compared with real plate heat exchanger produced by Güntner Company.
