Overview and comparison of cloud solutions for application development

This bachelor thesis lets the reader understand the definition of cloud computing, learn some facts about history of occurrence of the term. Also this bachelor thesis presents basic information considering the key players in the cloud computing market and main advantages and disadvantages of choosing cloud computing. The practical part of this thesis describes some smaller but extremely interesting cloud platforms, which are not well-known and distributed as a freeware. The main goal of this thesis is to explore cloud platforms for development.
Analysis of Daily Deal Sites Market in the Czech Republic from a Customer Perspective

This bachelor thesis analyses daily deal sites market offers in Czech Republic and creates a model of a daily deal site according to customer preferences. First the e-business is described. Then the concept of group buying is explained. The history of daily deal sites evolution is explained. Followed by the security of daily deal sites. Further, the benefits and limitations for participants are discribed. A questionnaire survey among consumers is evaluated and from it found out their preferences. Furthermore, monthly offers of deals on three czech daily deal sites are created and their analysis is performed. At the end, based on answers from filled in questionnaires and performed analyses the model of a daily deal site is created.
Identity management in the SaaS environment

This bachelor thesis deals with the identity management in the SaaS environment. The first part of the thesis defines and connects the areas which identity management is related. These areas are: cloud computing, authentication and authorization, legislation and standards. In areas of cloud computing, authentication and authorization is taken emphasis on security issues. The next part of the thesis compares three authentication and authorization standards (OpenID, OAuth and SAML) that are appropriate solution of the identity management in SaaS applications. The thesis defines the specifics for each standard and specifies the requirements for effective implementation. The last part describes how to implement OpenID authentication standard in an existing web application.
Inland waterway transport in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis aims to provide a general view of inland waterway transport in the Czech Republic. First, the positive and negative aspects are explored and applied to the situation in our country. Then the thesis deals with the legislative and development documents. These documents are divided by the national and international perspective. The work also presents public and private subjects which affect the operation and development of the inland waterways. Further there are defined waterways and navigability as a basis for understanding the inland waterway projects in the Czech Republic. The conclusion of the thesis is focused on the Czech freight inland waterway transport. This is where the major development projects are mentioned. In this part, I also describe the structures and types of transported goods. The work includes actual technical and historical information, which is necessary for the overall evaluation of water transport.
Analyse of security risk in a holding company

The main goal of the bachelor essay is to analyze security of information technology in holding company. Partial goal is to describe common risk of information technology in company and suggest appropriate solution. The essay is dedicated on information technology or security of data in current world. Every company, especially holding company, with many branch offices must have the data security on first place. The goal was reached by author's knowledge about company and consultation with other administrators in conjunction with theory about security in information technology. That theory was get on internet and in books dealing with those issues. Most of information is from many sources, because the essay must be as much independent as possible and verified of course. You can see in the essay that information world accelerates and the requirements for IT security are very important. The first part of the bachelor essay focus on theory about security of information technology. You can find information about history, types and attack details there. Of course there is information about types of security solution. In next part there is analyzed IT security of company. In last part are solutions of security threads that were found in the analysis. The analysis is revealed that company is trying to implement security solutions, but many of them are ignored.
Risk Management in Large Projects

This thesis deals with Risk Management within large projects. It is still a hot topic, because risk is an inherent part of any project and significantly affects its outcome. That is why it is paied more and more attention to Project Risk Management. This thesis is written in collaboration with a renowned multinational IT company delivering these large projects. One of the project factors is uniqueness. Conditions in the world are rapidly changing and companies are trying to gain a competitive advantage in their own IT. Uniqueness is obviously very important factor of IT innovation and that is the reason, why many companies implement their changes as a project. These projects must be directed to a succesfull outcome, therefore many methodologies was created to manage it. Current project are under greater pressure on the duration and cost of supply while maintaining high quality, which in practice means that to deliver successful projects is becoming increasingly difficult. Therefore, there should be greater emphasis on risk management, so an event that may threaten the success of the project. It is needed to learn and look for better and more efficient ways of Risk Management. The main scope of this thesis is to compare two project management methodologies (Prince 2 and RUP -- Rational Unified Process) with internal methodology of chosen IT company from the perspective of risk management and then to compare the project practices with the methodologies, to find any anomalies or errors and provide suggestions for improvement. Another objective is to find out and describe project risk management trends, and introduce some tools to support project risk management.
Framework Spring

The aim of the thesis is to introduce the reader to the Spring framework as a handy helper the enterprise application development. After reading the reader should be able to work with basic modules of this framework. Therefore, the thesis is designed as a manual for this framework. Spring is an application platform built on Java EE technology. For this reason, the Java EE is a theoretical basis for this thesis. The thesis describes the birth of this technology, its components and containers. Next part of the theoretical unit is a description of the Spring framework itself. The Spring concept is introduced to the reader, primarily modules which form the framework. After the concept, spring containers BeanFactory and ApplicationContext are introduced to the reader followed by dependency injection and autowiring techniques. There is also a part dedicated to AOP technice and the last is the MVC architecture. This architecture is the core of most frameworks for developing web applications and so is for Spring. For better understanding there are many examples how to work with introduced parts of the framework. In the practical part of the thesis the attention is given to the sample application, which is an integral part of this thesis. This application serves as a demonstration of informations that were presented to the reader in the theoretical part.
Security of Electronic payment system

This bachelor thesis discusses the security of electronic payment systems. It analyzes the security of individual system components and provides examples of attacks on that particular site. Included are also a security system requirements and safety principles to be followed. First, the readers are familiar with the issue, then the electronic payment systems are characterized, systematically divided according to certain criteria and then thesis states specific systems, which you are able use on the Internet. Then the work focuses on the security system at different locations identified as potentially at risk of attack options. Included are the technologies used, without which the systems were not able to guarantee security. Individual technologies are always related to the specific use of the system and explains the operating principle. Listed are the possible security breach system, which are explained. At the end of the work are considered methods for securing the system versus the user's behavior. A conclusion of work is based on this short thought.
