Design and realization of measuring device for determination of human arm force depending on elbow joint angle.
Zezula, Miroslav ; Vlk, Miloš (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is design and realization of measuring device for determination of human arm force depending on elbow joint angle. Used measuring method allows to measure this relationship during one continuos movement from one limit position to another. Simplicity of single measurement run allows to obtain a large set of values and evaluate it statistically. This thesis contains a detailed technical description of the measuring device. Actual force and position of hand are measured by electric transducers. Measured values are captured using Spider8 data acquisition system. Based on experiences from first test measurement, the measuring device is modified and drive unit is added. This drive unit is automatically started by a signal from data acquisition system.

Strain, stress and strength analysis of the frame construction.
Hrubý, Jaroslav ; Vlk, Miloš (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with the stress and strain calculation as well as with the safety evaluation at the plane (2-D) frame loaded by the individual force F. The aim of this work is not acquiring the use of cutting-edge computer programs to determine the stress and deformation, but to learn how to use practically the basic calculation methods being taught at the subject Strength of materials to get practical experience with the application of these calculation methods.

Fatigue strength of wheathering steel ATMOFIX 52A
Kunz, Ludvík ; Vlk, M. ; Zavadilová, Petra ; Klusák, Jan ; Navrátilová, L.
Deterioration of fatigue properties of weathering steels is a serious problem of operating life of engineering components subjected to corrosion and cyclic loads. There are two possible mechanisms of damage, which are discussed in literature. There is an effect of surface roughening, which develops during corrosion, and an effect of corrosion cracks, which can influence the fatigue crack initiation. The paper contains results of an experimental determination of fatigue life of ATMOFIX 52A grade steel with a corroded surface and comparison with the fatigue strength of basic smooth material. The notch effect of corrosion dimples, which initiated fatigue cracks, was determined on the basis of fractographic observation and numerical evaluation of stress concentration. It has been found that the reduction of the fatigue life can be quantitatively well predicted by means of the fatigue notch effect of corrosion dimples. No risky corrosion cracks were found in the studied corroded material

The usage of modern dance techniques in ballroom dancing
Vlk, Michal ; Rebcová, Monika (advisor) ; Vurmová, Marie (referee)
This bachelor work concerns about the development of basic social dancing and about its history. Moreover I tried to illustrate the basic ideas which are related with modern and social dancing. A description of modern dancing utilization in practice use in social dancing is the main part of this bachelor work.I tried to write down several movement variation for limbering of the most important parts of body. These exercises should improve the total movement coordination and its plasticity. It also pushes dancers skills more up.It is about my knowledge connection in both dance styles which I was able to accumulate till now. This bachelor work should be the first step in composition of effectual coordination exercises for dancers. There exists a lot of other exercises, but I want to be engaged in them in more detail in my another work. To my future work I would like to incorporate not only theoretic, but also practical experiences, which amout during my regular contacts with dancers grows up.
