The topic of this bachelor thesis is The design of the bicycle holder for the tram. Contracting authority of this project is the Škoda Transportation company, which participate in consultations with the purpose of producing the final product. The thesis deals with the analysis of the current state and the design of the bicycle holder. The aim is to design bicycle holder which will be convenient for placing it to the multipurpose space of the tram.

Design of the hammer set

This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the design of a product family of hammers by the means of generative design. The core of this thesis is the creation of an algorithm which will generate hammers of unified visual style, but varying properties based on input parameters. It is necessary that these hammers are in shape, ergonomics and dimensions adequate to preferences of the target group of professional workers and that they are producible in series and from commonly used materials. The output is a set of three hammers with different mass and dimensional properties.

Bachelor thesis deals with a conception of portable ultrasound devices. The main object is to design a device fulfilling all requirements and eliminating weak aspects of those already on sale. One problem with cable damage was solved by implementing wireless controls. Portable ultrasonography machines allow doctors to perform fast ambulant examinations.

The work includes an analysis of products and manufacturers, further it examines the current market situation and the technology used in this issue. The result of these analyzes are certain shortcomings and space for improvement. Based on the findings, it is created a custom design of the air pump, described in terms of aesthetic, structural and other aspects of design.

By integrating certain parts in the whole shape is prevented damage of device caused by carrying and improper handling, and creating user-friendly product aims to as effective and intuitive use as possible.
