Retaining Walls

This bachelor thesis deals with retaining walls, methods of the design and defects. The thesis then focuses on gebion retaning walls and their defects. The adopted design of the model of gabion for the calculation through final element method (FEM) is here processed and verified. In the practical part findings are applied to a real situation along a cycle path near the village called Tatranská Polianka. The designed retaining wall from gabion baskets is calculated analytically, using the programme GEO5 and PLAXIS 2D. In conclusion, results are evaluated and compared.

FIALA, R., 2012: The impact of trust on performance of enterprises, clusters and purchasing alliances. Mendel University in Brno. Dissertation thesis. This dissertation thesis is concerned with verification of how trust influences the performance of enterprises, clusters and purchasing alliances. Three models have been formed on which relationships among variables are proved by means of structural equation modeling. The first model deals with relations between the interorganizational and interpersonal trust in the supplier from the purchaser's point of view, negotiation costs and the level of conflict between suppliers and customers, and with the performance of suppliers and customers. Based on calculations, statistically significant relation has been discovered between the trust (interorganizational and interpersonal) and the negotiation costs, the trust (interorganizational and interpersonal) and the level of conflict, the performance of suppliers and the negotiation costs, the performance of suppliers and the level of conflict, as well as the relation between the performance of suppliers and the performance of customers. The second model shows a relationship between reputation among members of clusters, the trust among their members and the performance of clusters. Out of the three relations researched two were statistically significant (i.e. the relation between the reputation and the trust, and the trust and the performance). The relation between the reputation and the performance was statistically insignificant. The third model verifies a relationship between the reputation of the purchasing alliance headquarters, the trust in it, and the performance of the purchasing alliance. Statistically significant relations have been discovered between these three variables.

I have tried to bring together my own know-how and teoretical knowledge in improvisation, as a way of actors production, method of drama in education and the point of view of the theatre as well. Although I have tried to be objective, I have implicitly showed my absorption in improvisation. And that is also the object of this dissertation - get a reader to be interested in improvisation.
The protection of EU economical market from the view of collaboration of the EU boards of customs

This work deals with the protection of European Union economic market from the view of the collaboration of individual customs boards of the union. The protection of the market is presented as the basic mission in conjunction with the methods and the processes of uncovering of serious criminal activities. It is introduced as a legal framework for activities and collaboration and also some examples of practical use are also given. The work also defines the role of the customs organs in the field of international collaboration related to enforcing the law and uncovering of attempts of illegal trade of goods within the lands of EU.

Práce hodnotí uplatnění marketingového řízení v podniku DH Dekor, s. r. o. Nejprve jsou vymezeny teoretické poznatky z různé odborné literatury. Dále práce obsahuje charakteristiku podniku. Poté je popsáno uplatnění marketingového řízení a nástrojů marketingového mixu v podniku. Na závěr je uvedeno hodnocení marketingového řízení, marketingového mixu a opatření vedoucí ke zlepšení situace podniku.
