Nations and terrorisms in speeches by V.V. Putin and G.W. Bush

In this cross-national case study the author, as a former appreciator of Vladimir Putin's policy toward Chechnya, has tried to interpret the war on terrorism as a constructed entity by political leaders in crisis situations. Being inspired by the structural analysis of mythology he tries to identify the similarities and differences in the narratives about terrorism constructed by Vladimir Putin and G.W. Bush. The author argues that the both situations - in Russia in September 1999 and in USA after 11.9.2001 - could be regarded as crisis situations, and that is why the similarities could be found in the narratives about terrorism, articulated by both political leaders. In the first part of this paper, the author has shown the historical context of crisis in both countries. The second and the third part of the work is a qualitative content analysis of Bush's and Putin's speeches related to terrorism. The author has analytically divided speeches into two major blocks: "before" (speeches produced by the leaders in the short period after the crisis) and "after" (speeches produced by the leaders during their military campaigns on terror). Homebirth as Actor-Network

Homebirth as Actor-Network: Multiple realities The topic of this medical anthropology thesis is a description of homebirth seen through the eyes of Actor-Network Theory. The focus of this work is thus not on the professional concept of homebirth as a biological process or soon-to-be-mothers experience and take on homebirth. Focus is on homebirth in itself, how it is enacted via interactions of actors in network. After the presentation of two points of view on medicine (disease and illness), an introduction into the basic principles and innovations of ANT (including anthropology of symmetry), into the works of people, who build their ideas on it (Mol - multiplicity, De Laet - fluidity, Law) and the presentation of the current birthing situation in the Czech Republic, the thesis shifts its focus to the description of the whole actor-network, which enacts homebirth via interaction between the actors in practice. These practices are abstracted from the interviews with mothers, a dula and a paediatrician. The description includes people and objects, because according to ANT, they have the same amount of social agency. Instrumental enrichment and Philosophy for children - programs for support of development of a critical and creative thinking.

This thesis deals with programmes for critical and creative thinking development. The topic covers primarily the programs of "Instrumental enrichment" and "Philosophy for children". In the theoretical part the author explains and describes the term thinking, particularly a creative and critical thinking, both constituting a fundamental element of this thesis. In another part of the thesis the author introduces two specific programs "the Instrumental enrichment" and "the Philosophy for children". The final part of the thesis concentrates on common features of both programs, focusing on theoretical explanation and description of these attributes.

Dramaturgy as skill of adventure pedagogue

The dissertation primarily deals with dramaturgy of experience pedagogy and application beside that as well. The experience pedagogy and main temrs as experince and sklill is described at the beginning of dessertation. It continues with description of dramaturgy itself, kinds and general view of dramaturgy, term definiton in pedagogical context. The third part conserns directly to dramaturgy inside the experience pedagogy. There are also dicribed leisure activities, education by an expirience,. Chapter continues then the basic dividing of dramaturgy, dramaturgy wave, arc and reflection. The next part of dissertation is about employment of dramaturgy beside dramaturgy of experience. The final topic is about how to use dramaturgy in education.

Czech governmental legislative planning in the years 1998-2002

The aim of the study was to reveal the degree to which government legislative planning fulfilled the following coordinative tasks: distributing legislative tasks and establishing a timetable for their completion; balancing political interests and transforming the legal code during harmonising Czech law with ES law and reforming the Czech legal code. This empirical study has an investigative character. It reconstructs the process of drawing up the legislative plans (1998ů2002), the preparation of the new legislative plan (the remainder of 2002) and the outlook for the future (2003ů2006).
