Některé nové přístroje ve službách telemedicíny

Vývoj nových přístrojů s ukládáním dat do paměti a později i s jejich přenosem přes pevnou a mobilní telefonní síť přinesl nové poznatky, zlepšil diagnostiku a léčbu. U chronických chorob je výhodný telemonitoring důležitých proměnných – glykémie u diabetu, hmotnosti u srdečního selhání a hodnot krevního tlaku u nejčastější kardiovaskulární choroby arteriální hypertenze. U hypertenze umožňuje měření doma či v práci během dne lépe posoudit úspěšnost léčby, snížit počet návštěv a zvýšit spolupráci pacienta.

Electronic Patient Records and Medical Guidelines in Telemedicine

With the development of information and communication technology, medical informatics research is focusing on development of electronic medical guidelines that should serve for effective support of medical decision based on direct interaction with electronic patient records. The paper gives the overview of the research in this medical informatics field and discusses its significance for telemedicine.

Education and Training in Medical Informatics, Statistics and Epidemiology, at the EuroMISE Center

In the paper we show the different activities of the EuroMISE Center in the field of medical informatics, statistics and epidemiology education and training. The development of these activities has started within TEMPUS-PHARE project and is continuing with the support of IT EDUCTRA (Fourth Framework Programme) project. New approaches using Internet and new developed programmes are described.
