Characteristics of team game performance and their comparison in youth teams in Lithuania and Czech republic
Kocián, Michal ; Velenský, Michael (advisor) ; Kaprálek, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Characteristics of team game performance and their comparison in youth teams in Lithuania and Czech republic Aims: The main goal of my thesis is a comparison of selected indicators of team game performance of both teams accompanied by a possibility to record the frequency of combinations based on setting screens, finding the most significant differences in indicators of both teams and determine the reasons for these differences. Methods: Using quantitative (numerical) observations of selected indicators supplemented by the game to record the accompanied by a possibility to record the frequency of combinations based on setting screens to determine differences in the team game performance of U14 teams in Lithuania and the Republic. Results: Acquired selected statistical indicators have shown the most significant phenomena of the game performance of youth teams in Lithuania and the Czech republic and the differences between them. Key words: Team game performance, offensive combinations based on setting screens, statisticals indicators, youth basketball, quantitative analysis.
Adversarial Examples in Machine Learning
Kocián, Matěj ; Pilát, Martin (advisor) ; Neruda, Roman (referee)
Deep neural networks have been recently achieving high accuracy on many important tasks, most notably image classification. However, these models are not robust to slightly perturbed inputs known as adversarial examples. These can severely decrease the accuracy and thus endanger systems where such machine learning models are employed. We present a review of adversarial examples literature. Then we propose new defenses against adversarial examples: a network combining RBF units with convolution, which we evaluate on MNIST and get better accuracy than with an adversarially trained CNN, and input space discretization, which we evaluate on MNIST and ImageNet and obtain promising results. Finally, we explore a way of generating adversarial perturbation without access to the input to be perturbed. 1
Partner's Position in a Personal Business Company
Kocián, Michal ; Patěk, Daniel (advisor) ; Zahradníčková, Marie (referee)
The rigorous thesis "Partner's Position in a Personal Business Company" deals primarily with rights and obligations of partners / limited partners arising to them upon their participation in the general or limited partnership (the "Company"). The focus of this thesis is the examination of these rights and obligations in light of the recodification, i.e. upon coming into effect of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 90/2012 Coll. on business corporations and cooperatives (the Business Corporations Act). Both laws referred to in the previous sentence became effective on 1 January 2014. The aim of this rigorous thesis is to describe not only each of these rights and obligations of a partner of the general/limited partnership but also to characterise individual problems brought about by this re-enactment and to find at least some way out of such problems, if possible. Hence, the work resolved, on the one hand, the partner's rights, i.e. the right to a share in profit, the right to the reimbursement of expenses incurred by the partner in settling the Company's affairs, the partner's right to the settlement share and to a share in the liquidation balance, The thesis also deals with issues concerning the statutory body of the Company, the management of the Company's business, the partner's right to...
Metrics for eye movements comparisons
Kocián, Matěj ; Děchtěrenko, Filip (advisor) ; Vodrážka, Jindřich (referee)
Measurement of eye movements is becoming a well established part of expe- rimental research in many areas (such as human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology and others). Then usually a need arises to mutually compare the eye movements. Many different metrics have been suggested for this purpose, but what is missing is a comparison of these metrics and consequently an agreement on the ones that should be used in specific cases. In this thesis we describe some commonly used metrics and then create a model of smooth pursuit eye move- ments. We subsequently use this model to compare the ability of Levenshtein metric, Normalized Scanpath Saliency for dynamic scenes and discrete Fréchet distance to recognise similarity between the original eye movement trajectory and its modified copy. 1
