Spain: instruments and Tourism Policy

This thesis presents analysis of the organization of tourism policy in Spain. The thesis is structured into four chapters. First part of the thesis is devoted to description of tourism importance to the Spanish economy by using macroeconomic indicators, further presents Spain as an international tourist destination. Next part of the thesis explains various current trends and factors, which have influence on supply and demand of tourism and introduce new forms of tourism. Third chapter focuses on theoretical approaches to tourism policy in general. The thesis concludes with an analysis of tourism policy in Spain. This part involves characteristics of tourism organisation and governance, instruments and goals of tourism policy in Spain.

The Tourism Development within the Group of Municipalities Blatensko

The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of tourism development within the microregion Svazek obcí Blatenska (SOB, Group of Municipalities Blatensko). The aim of the thesis is to analyse the potential of the SOB microregion for the development of tourism, to evaluate the possibilities and limits of tourist development from the point of view of local administration representatives, businessmen, service providers and representatives of local societies, and to offer suggestions for potential further development based on these findings. In the first part, definitions of key terms are provided and fields of interest are specified. The second part characterises SOB, describes and evaluates the infrastructure of tourism and provides a comprehensive summary of the attractions of the discussed area. The third part is concerned with the analysis of tourism within the SOB microregion from the point of view of selected groups of interest. It also includes suggestions for making use of the region's potential for tourism development. To achieve the aim of the thesis, available literature on relevant issues was analysed and a questionnaire survey was conducted. The work combines an objective analysis of the region's potential with the views and opinions of local entities involved. As a result, it provides a complex insight into tourism in the given microregion and can serve as inspiration for the SOB villages regarding their future steps in tourism development.

The Bachelor's thesis "Consumer Behaviour of Students of the University of Economics when Selecting a Holiday Destination and During Their Holiday" considers consumer behaviour of young people towards tourism. The thesis defines the issue of consumer behaviour and characterizes the tourims market and trends. Apart from the general characteristics it deals with factors determining the consumer behaviour. It presents results of research "Preferences of Europeans towards Tourism" which was conducted by the European Commission. The goal of the thesis is further understanding and characterization of student's consumer behaviour in tourism based on a questionnaire survey among students of the University of Economics.

The Tourism Development in the Tourist Area of Český les

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to present the turist area of Český les as a competitive tourist area with a specific potential for the tourism development. The bachelor thesis is divided into four individual chapters. The first chapter consists of the general terms of tourism, which are related to the topic of the bachelor thesis. The second chapter specifies the geographic, natural and economic characteristics of the tourist area. The third chapter deals with the analysis of the supply and the demand in tourism in the tourist area of Český les, one part also focuses on the questionnaire survey, which was made among the visitors of the tourist area. The SWOT analysis sums up the current state of tourism in the tourist area of Český les. The final fourth chapter includes the proposals and opportunities of the tourism development, which are mostly based on the findings from the previous chapters.

Role of the Czech Republic in the International Trade

This Bachelor Thesis titled Role of the Czech Republic in the International Trade deals with a current situation of Czech exporters on international markets and with new opportunities which arise for them nowadays. At the very beginning the foreign trade policy of the Czech Republic is defined, it is presented how the government can influence its exporters and to what extent this role has been affected by the membership in the European Union. Also, the immense importance of the biggest trading partner of the Czech Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, is described and some new markets with a great potential are defined. Finally, the given data are supported with concrete information from a particular company and therefore the company Elitex Nepomuk, a.s. and its figures are introduced.

Analysis of the eurozone crisis with impacts on the Czech Republic

Eurozone debt crisis is a current issue in the world today. It constantly intervenes in the world economy and modifies the picture of the economy of the 21st century. Its beginnings reminds the global financial and economic crisis, however, it differs in impacts that are bigger. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is not only to evaluate the causes that led to the formation of the debt crisis in Europe, but also to exclude or confirm the claim that the introduction of common currency has caused problems of this magnitude. It also deals with the size of impacts that the crisis had to this point the eurozone and the most affected member states of the eurozone and adjudicates the acquisitions that have been taken in the fight against it. The last section focuses on the evaluation of development in the Czech Republic from macroeconomic perspective and define impacts of the crisis on the Czech economy.

Croatia: economy and position in the international tourism market

The diploma thesis is focused on Croatia's economy and position in the international tourism market. The object of the thesis is a study of Croatia's economy and tourism in connection with its accession to the European Union. The aim of the thesis is to analyse macroeconomic indicators and evaluate position of Croatia in the international tourism market along with assessment of competitiveness in both areas. First part of the thesis evaluates economic situation of Croatia and its competitiveness. Considering Croatia's accession to the European Union, the thesis provides a comparative analysis of selected macroeconomic indicators with those of member states. The next part of the thesis is focused on tourism in Croatia, its characteristics and evaluation of competitiveness and position in the international tourism market. In the last part, the diploma thesis describes problematic areas and current policies of tourism in Croatia.

Impact of rail transport on tourism development in the Czech Republic

The aim of the thesis Impact of rail transport on tourism development in the Czech Republic is the analysis of correlation between rail transport and tourism in the Czech Republic with reference to global trends in this field and proposition of appropriate steps to deeper and more effective cooperation. The first chapter is devoted to definition of rail transport, history of rail transport in the Czech Republic, characterization of the current state of railways in the Czech Republic, position of rail transport on the Czech transport market and use of rail transport in tourism. Second chapter concentrates on analysis of three chosen tourist destinations in terms of the availability of rail. In the last chapter overall situation in this field is analyzed and suggestions for the further development are given.

The diploma theses analyzes the influence of global economic crisis on Spanish tourism. The aim of the theses is to evaluate development of tourism in Catalonia after the global economic crisis. Firstly, the theses deals with the current economic situation in Spain and it's impact on tourism. The next part of theses is focused on economic situation and tourism of Catalonia. The impact of the crisis is demonstrated on international arrivals and revenues, hotel occupancy, number of overnights and employement. In conclusion, the theses focuses on the development opportunities of the Catalan tourism in the future.

This bachelor's thesis concerns with the topic of Cohesion policy of the European Union, particularly with the administrative process of gaining financial aid from the structural funds. It aims to clarify the implementation structure of programmes used within the Cohesion policy and also to compare the situation in the programming period 2007-2013 and the period 2014-2020. Using a case study it applies gained findings to particular project. To fulfil this task it uses the business plan and the application form for a subsidy worked out by the project owner.
