Usage of Internet and computer application in the education of subject Health Education SUMMARY: The thesis focuses on usage of information technologies in the education of subject Health Education. According to this scope, the list of relevant internet sites and computer assisted learning applications is provided. The next main focus is given to the relationship between using computers and health. The result of research on this field is, that risks are underestimated in the School Educational Program. The worksheets created as part of the thesis can increase the knowledge of possible risks of internet browsing. Dětské úrazy jsou celosvětově považovány za závažný nejen zdravotnický problém, ale také společenský, sociální a v neposlední řadě i ekonomický. Dětská úrazovost patří k hlavním příčinám dětské úmrtnosti i nemocnosti. V České republice mají úrazy ročně na svědomí přibližně třista mrtvých a na tři tisíce trvale postižených dětí. Mezi evropskými státy se řadíme k zemím s nejvyšším výskytem úrazovosti. Úrazy se nestávají jen tak, každému úrazu předchází konkrétní nebezpečná situace. Většinou to znamená, že dospělí buď neudělali vše, co mohli, aby úrazu zabránili, nebo podcenili bezpečnost prostředí, kde se dítě pohybuje. Hlavně ale dítě nenaučili chovat se tak, aby úrazu předešlo. Zjistila jsem, že málokdo si plně uvědomuje tato základní fakta, a proto jsem si zvolila jako téma diplomové práce problematiku dětské úrazovosti. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Knowledge of Children of a Selected Secondary School about Poverty

This dissertation study, The Knowledge of Children of a Selected Secondary School about Poverty, characterizes the concept of poverty from different angles. The theory part concretely defines the concept of poverty. It describes types of poverty, treats the topic of reasons behind and outcomes of the mentioned global problem. This work delineates the marking of poverty in the Czech Republic and maps out in general the situation of the global problem in the world. It demarcates the meaning of The World Bank, which effectively decreases poverty in the world. The closing argument of the theory part treats the topic of preventing poverty, and organizations which deal specifically with poverty. The empirical portion of the dissertation is handled through the vehicle of research, realized through questionnaire surveys with the help of non-standardized questionnaires, which ascertain poverty awareness of pupils of the selected middle school. The practical part of the dissertation analyzes the Ministry of Education's Requirements for Education of Students of ZŠ a MŠ Králův Dvůr, Jungmannova 292, 267 01, (the primary school and kindergarten of Kralův Dvůr, Jungmannova 292, 267 01). Premedical Skills Level of Selected Primary School Pupils

The main emphasis of this thesis is to determine premedical skills level of selected primary school pupils. It compares 8th and 9th graders knowledge gained during the curricular subjects for primary schools and post-project ones. The project itself is focused on human health and first aid in emergency situations and it combines all didactic techniques including practical training at local medical high school. The thesis consists of two main parts, where theoretical part briefly introduces the history of first aid within the Red Cross, gives an insight into first aid legislation and shows fundamental first aid techniques. The practical part contains of the questionnaire survey which has been used as a background for creating and testing the educational project. KEYWORDS: health, life rescue, literacy, injured person

Skills of students from selected faculties of Charles University for the prevention of Child Sexual Abuse Syndrome

The purpose of this thesis titled ``The competence of students from selected faculties of Charles University to prevent Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) syndrome{\crq}q is to identify the readiness of selected future specialists (final year students specialising in the relative area) to prevent Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) syndrome. In the theoretical part of this work fundamental definitions, as well as terms relevant to Child Sexual Abuse syndrome (CSA), or Child Abuse and Neglect syndrome (CAN) are mentioned. Furthermore, some aspects of epidemiological indicators are presented showing us proof of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) syndrome in common populations and therefore a need to address this problem. In the practical part of this thesis quantitative interviews were used, which were implemented by Computer Aided Web Interviewing (CAWI). The subject group was a convenience sample of 579 students in there final year (2007/2008) of studying. Students from the following faculties participated: Charles University {--} 1., 2., 3. Medical faculty, Medical faculty in Hradec Kralove, Medical faculty in Plzen, Faculty of Law, Pedagogic faculty, faculty of Philosophy and Human resources faculty. Five hundred seventy nine respondents studying in academic year of 2007/2008 on selected faculties of Charles University were contacted. The questionnaire that was used comprised of different parts, in which both closed as well as open-ended type of questions were used. The scale was used in the analyses of the primary outcome measures. The absolute frequency, relative frequency, cumulative frequency, independent chi square, analysis of variance medium and sample standard deviation were determined. Both tables and graphs were used to show the frequencies distribution Based on results a standard of minimal knowledge/training was established based on the results. Recommendations were made as to the means for facilitating functional interdisciplinary collaborations. The recommendations presented in this thesis are fundamental and are intended to be used by University professors at of the above mentioned Universities. The standard includes fundamental terminology and logistics. The ultimate goal of this work is that it be applied, and that new and relevant information be added by specific faculties.

Educational Institute for Children Protection and his attendance on the program JPD 3

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu projektu "JPD 3", který byl realizován Vzdělávacím institutem ochrany dětí, o. p. s., v rámci Jednotného programového dokumentu pro Cíl 3 regionu NUTS II Hl. m. Praha. Teoretická část práce je věnována souvislostem programu JPD 3 s regionální politikou a regionem Hl. m. Praha. Podrobněji se tato část věnuje SWOT analýze hl. m. Prahy, prostřednictvím které byly přerozdělovány prostředky pro jednotlivé priority programu JPD 3. Analytická část je zaměřena na vlastní projekt "JPD 3" a jeho porovnání s ostatními projekty v rámci opatření 3.2 Rozvoj dalšího vzdělávání. Cílem analýzy je prokázat význam celého projektu a vyjádřit jeho důležité postavení mezi ostatními projekty v rámci daného opatření.
