Computation geometry in robotics.

Thesis deals with finding forbiden configuration space for polygonal robot. The aim is to compute an obstacle shape in configuration space. This problem solves Minkowsky Sum. Also thesis deals with Minkowsky sum properties. In the rest of the thesis is mentioned algorithm to compute Minkowsky sum, its debugging and implementation to the C# enviroment.

Design of milling machine spindl

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is design of milling machine spindle. The first part of this thesis includes recherche of milling machines and their spindles used novadays. The second part includes the choice of spindle technical characteristics, necessary calculations and structural design. 3D model of spindle made in Autodesk Inventor 10 Professional, assembly drawing and bill of material are parts of suplement.

This bachelor’s thesis deals with milling machines. At first a dividing is done according to a construction and every type is described. Then this thesis consecrates ways of the milling. In the next part the table vertical milling machine is chosen. At this milling machine, some parts of the milling machine are defined and the main constructive branching points are calculated.

The Work contains a detailed description of parts forming the linear displacement system of machine tools. The Work is also focusing on several producers who deal with this issue. High attention is paid to the merits, qualities and methods on how the making of single machine parts is solved; this is described both from the design and process viewpoints.
