Determination of Lactulose by capillary zone electrophoresis
Holcová, Kristýna ; Doležal, Martin (advisor) ; Kučera, Radim (referee)
Determination of Lactulose by capillary zone electrophoresis Kristýna Holcová A lot of sugar analysis methods exist. Capillary Electophoresis (CE), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatogramy (GC), Thin-Layer Chromatography (TLC) etc. HPLC is the method which is most used, however other methods have also some advantage. One of the already described capillary electrophoresis methods is the carbohydrate separation in alkaline medium after chelatation with copper(II) ions with direct UV detection without need of previous derivatization. It has been tested for simple sugars, disaccharides, some amine-acids and inorganic cations. I applied capillary electrophoresis method mentioned above on questions of setting up osmotic laxancium lactulose. Lactulose is disaccharide from the chemistry point of view. It appears in molasses form in commercial medicaments. The method has been suited to the apparature used during the research and tested substance. It has been proved the specifity and accuracy of the method and it has been set up correlative factor (0,9994). Quality and quantity analysis has been applied on chosen samples.
Education trail along "Blažejovický potok" brook
Neubauerová, Kristýna ; Holcová, Katarína (advisor) ; Matějka, Dobroslav (referee)
This thesis deals with the characteristic of the Vysočina region and with a project of founding an educational natural trail "Povodím Blažejovického potoka". The thesis consists two parts. The first theoretic part describes the Vysočina region in light of geomorphological, biological, geological, natur protection and in which chapter is emphasization the area, in which is situated the lane of educational trail. It is compilatory text, which is composion like guide book to the Vysočina region for teachers, who decide for visit with their students not only this education trail, but another places in the Vysočina region too. They can find in the text another interesting places to visit. On the end of theoretic part are two chapters, historical interests and explication the concept of the education trail. The second, practical part include individual information boards with thematic content and their graphic layout. The education trail has 7 km with 12 information boards. It is the combination education trail, it has 1 introductory board, 3 boards with historical informations, 1 geological board, 2 botanical board, 1 zoological board, 2 ecological boards and 1 board about technical memory. The education trail goes on well walkable terrain along the metalled road. It started at Rachyně, throught Blažejovice and...
Early Devonian Foraminifera of the Barrandian area
Vaněčková, Anna ; Tonarová, Petra (referee) ; Holcová, Katarína (advisor)
The first part is devoted to basic information on systematics, general biology of foraminifera, morphology of their tests which is important for taxonomy and also on ecology. The following section relates to characteristic of the Devonian, with the emphasis on the Barrandian area and its stratigraphy plus characteristic of the Na Stydlých vodách quarry where samples were taken for the purpose of this thesis. In the last part, results of the Early Devonian foraminifera of the Barrandian area research are compared with similar studies conducted abroad.
Radiolaria of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin
Müllerová, Petra ; Vajskebrová, Markéta (referee) ; Holcová, Katarína (advisor)
The first part of work deals with cell structure, shell morphology, reproduction and nutrition. Also the ecology and systematical subdivision of radiolarians are described here. The systematical subdivision depends on differences in shell morphology of individual forms. The next part is devoted to Cretaceous radiolarians with focus on Cenomanian and Turonian ones, also some examples from several locations around the world is located here. The last part of this work deals with geology of Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, where the study of radiolarians from certain site will continue in master thesis.
Foraminifera of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin
Hašková, Barbora ; Frank, Jiří (referee) ; Holcová, Katarína (advisor)
The thesis deals in the compilation part with systematic classification, biology, morphology of the test, ecology and palaeoecology of the Foraminifera. Next research focuses on the history of Cretaceous Foraminifera in our area and the geology of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, focusing on Úpohlavy site in the northwestern part of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Three samples from Úpohlavy section were preliminary micropaleontologically analysed. Plankton / bentos ratio was counted. Genus Heterohelix and Planoheterohelix was described and taxonomically studied. Keywords: Upper Cretaceous, Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, Foraminifera, Heterohelix 1

/ SUMMARY The doctoral thesis discusses thecamoebians assemblages coming from five glacial lakes in the National Park Šumavaand from the Lipno Reservoir in the Southern Bohemia (the Czech Rep.). The research analyzes parameters of various assemblages commensurate with environmental characteristics. The aim of this research is to find relations useful in paleoecology. Thecamoebians are freshwater microorganisms with amoeboid cell and simple organic or anorganic test. Species with anorganic tests have been examined because of their better possibilities to fossilize. This taxon may prove to be a key taxon for monitoring environmental change during 21't century So it is expected that it could bear useful information about freshwater benthic paleoenvironment as well. Forty-six surface samples from the bottom of five glacial lakes in the ŠumavaMts., Czech Republic. collected in2002 were investigated and twelve species of thecamoebians with anorganic wall were identified in total. 96 oÁ samples contain the species Difflugia globulus. Other common species are Difflugia oblonga and Centropyxis orbicularis. Dominance oť DiÍÍlugiaglobulus and representation of Centropyxis orbiculari.r and Trigonopyxis arcula are the considerable differences comparing testate fauna from other world lakes. It is possible to distinguish...
Vzájemné interakce mezi psy na procházkách v Přerově
Holcová, Kristýna
The thesis was focused on canine interactions in public spaces. Three hundred canine dyads was observed. The gender of the dog affected the initiation of sniffing. The gender of the dog and leading of dogs had an effect on the location of sniffing on the body of dogs. Number of sniffing places was affected by day time and leading of dogs. Playful interactions were affected by the place of observation and leading of dogs. The gender of the dog and it's owner had an impact on marking the territory. In conclusion, the results indicate that canine interactions are influenced by a number of factors.

Pre-restoration materials research of the painting is based on microscopic (both optical and electron) analyses of grounds and painting layers in the cross-sections of fragments with the aim to identify pigments and to describe the stratigraphy of re-nts involving to choose the suitable restoration procedure. Other methods (e.g. microchemical and histochemical tests) are used for identification of binding media.
