Říha, Jakub ; Matošková, Petra (advisor) ; Süss, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Analysis of Didactic Interaction in Group Skiing Lessons for Adults Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to perform detailed analysis and comparison of the didactic teacher - student interaction during adult skiing lessons between two instructors with the same level of experience but different educational background. Methods: In our research we have employed a participant observation method using classification into a category system based on a standardised MADI (Modified Analysis of Didactic Interaction) technique. This includes 7 categories describing the forms of the teacher's behaviour, the didactic content of the lessons, didactic situations, and attitudinal characteristics. Results: The results of the study confirmed, among others, a higher incidence of the two most effective forms of teacher behaviour (correction and feedback information provision) in the instructor with pedagogical education, which was associated with a higher quality of the teaching process. Keywords: teaching, skiing, instructor, didactic interaction, analysis, ADI, MADI
Summer training of downhill skiers using nontraditional sport disciplines
Brandtner, Petr ; Matošková, Petra (advisor) ; Jindra, Matouš (referee)
Title: Summer training of downhill skiers using nontraditional sport disciplines Objectives: The main goal of this diploma thesis is based on the results of a survey to verify whether the selected nontraditional sport disciplines are used in the annual training cycle of downhill skiers. Based on the ascertained information then to process methodical materials of each from nontraditional sport disciplines and characterize them in detail. Methods: There were used methods of content analysis and synthesis of scientific text. It was mainly book titles and internet resources. To verify the technical issues a quantitative research was used. For collecting the necessary data a method of public inquiry in electronic form with subsequent processing and evaluation was used. The questionnaire contained 15 uniquely formulated questions. The first four questions were of sociodemographic type to obtain further identification of the respondents (gender, age, education, region), the remaining 12 questions were directed to approach the issue of summer training of downhill skiers, its duration and financial cost. Results: Based on the survey it was found that the competitors have at least one of the nontraditional sport discipline included in their summer training for the winter season. Functional load issues in freeskiing
Balla, Dušan ; Gnad, Tomáš (advisor) ; Matošková, Petra (referee)
Title: Functional load issues in freeskiing. Objectives: The aim of this thesis paper is to prove functional load in freeskiing. Methods: Research of available documentations and information. Measurement was done by sport tester divisor followed by analyses of data. Results: Only in ski performance called jibbing the heart rate frequency became stable at 160-180 beats per minute in relation to physical activity. In the activity big-air and half-pipe, the heart beat frequency become stable after load. The biggest fluctuations in heart rate frequency were analyzed in big-air activity done in a pre stage before load. We can attribute this to emotions, adrenalin and conditioned reflexes. In half-pipe activity, the longest follow up phase of heart rate frequency returned to baseline. This shows the greatest intensity of load out of all measured activities. Keywords: freeskiing, functional load, heart rate
Winter preparation for squash players
Cendelín, Jan ; Matošková, Petra (advisor) ; Süss, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Winter preparation for squash players Objectives: The aim of the work is to set up (make) weekly plan of winter (ski) camp for squash player. Another aim was to determine whether coaches use the winter to concentrate and use compensation exercises. Methods: In my thesis I used a method of data collection, concretely document analysis and a public inquiry. Inquiry questions are divided into three groups: close questions (answers YES/NO), select from concrete answers and open answers. In document analysis are used multi media, virtual dates and objective dates. Results: I found out that most of squash instructors organize sports concentrations. Most of respondents prefer summer preparation to winter preparation. Squash instructors use compensational exercise regularly, but do not use supplemental sports very often. Winter sports use just about third of respondents. Some instructors forbid some sports. Especially it concerns tennis and badminton (because of the different struck technique). I made training plan like a winter preparation for squash players, I used down hill skiing and cross country skiing like an additional sports. It is focused on condition and progress coordination ability. Keywords: squash, skiing, supplement sports, training plan

Drbohlavová, Jana ; Matošková, Petra (advisor) ; Polášková, Marcela (referee)
Name of the essay: Current trends in teaching children skiing Aim of the essay: The aim of the study was to gather available instructional materials, documents relating to skiing preschool and young school children. Methods: This is a literature search based on an analysis of documents. Results: The sources obtained showed that ski lessons preschool age and school age can be done three different ways, namely: skiing under the guidance of parents, participation in the "schools" ski course or paid teaching in commercial ski school. When teaching skiing led by parents, parent participation benefit the most will appreciate the youngest children in full started. It is suitable for positive incentives to attract more skiing skills. The disadvantage of skiing with my parents is the possibility of non-professional teaching at a child that can lead to unmotivation. In the school skiteaching is the course led by school teacher, backed by a professional instructor, ensuring quality teaching methodical sequence. The advantage is that the teacher knows the children's long and can have individual access. Another advantage is that the ski skills to meet a group of unsportsmanlike children who would not come into contact with skiing. Difficulty of this course is to motivate unsportsmanlike children. The downside...

Hraško, Petr ; Polášková, Marcela (advisor) ; Matošková, Petra (referee)
Title: Ski training program of the older school age beginners and the evaluation of acquired skiing skills. Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to prepare a concept of the ski training program for school age beginners, including the schema how to evaluate a succes of created program as well. This program should be verified in my diploma paper Methods: The main processing method used in this bachalor thesis is the analysis of documents. I created a concept of the ski training program for older school age beginners based on analysis and synthesis of theoretical information. I created a schema, how to assess a level of acquired skiing skills of the course attendants. Method used in this schema is a subjective assess scale, standard scale, based on a video-analysis of well defined test runs of the attendants on the beginning and the end of the course. Results: I created in a table form a ski training program of the older school age beginners and a thorough description of the considered excercises. The video of the course attendatns will be evaluated and analysed according to the standard scale with well defined five test runs to assess acquired skiing skills of the course attendants. Key words: older school age, skiing of the children, ski course, assess scale

Title: Individual ski lesson of preschool children Targets: The target of diploma work is on base of observation the interaction of ski instructor or parent and pupil to show, which kind of ski lesson is more appropriate for preschool age. Method of diploma work: In this work I used attended observation and controlled conversation. During attended observation I have taken notices progress of ski lesson to my beforehand prepared table with fixed criterions (age of child, sort of teacher, duration of teaching lesson, length of slope, kind of terrain, teaching methods, way of snowplough practice, correction of mistakes, communication during teaching lesson). I used controlled conversation after the end of lesson and the conversation was led with parent of child and instructor. Controlled conversation was composed from open questions. During conversation I used questions regarding experience or behaviour, knowledge and perception. Result: Establishing of the first contact of a teacher and a child was performed only during instructor lesson. The instructor had to get child to his side. Between parent and child hasn't been first contact. During the lesson there was communication only between the teacher and the child. Instructor tried to communicate with child during whole lesson. The instructor used...
