Porovnání PK a KN držby pozemků a posouzení erozního ohrožení při postupném zvětšování ploch orné půdy
KOVÁŘOVÁ, Kristýna
The aim of this work is to clarificate water erosion issues, which were compared by study and analysis of history in a selected area. In the literature review of this study, evolution of agriculture based on land and political ownerships is described. The next things explained in this study are erosion, its causes, repercussions and ways how to fight erossion. The chosen area was cadastral territory Bavorovice. There were used historical maps from years 1827 and 1972, which were landed by cadastral workspace in České Budějovice. For the analysis, historical maps from years 1827 and 1972 were provided by cadastral office in České Budějovice. The maps were compared with a current state after finished KoPÚ. In those maps as well as in the actual cadastral map a few land fields were selected for calculation of average soil loss per year in solved time periods. For the calculation, (of average soil loss) universal equation for average soil loss from land by Wishmaier and Smith was used, which is used. This equation is used for KoPÚ projects as well. The results were evaluated and compared in conclusion of this study.
Nature in Cormac McCarthy's Novels
KOVÁŘOVÁ, Kateřina
The aim of this thesis is to examine the topic of nature in novelistic oeuvre of American author Cormac McCarthy. This thesis pursues all ten novels, which are divided into three sections according to the region they are associated with. Ecocriticism was chosen as an approach; therefore, the first chapter deals with a short introduction to this interdisciplinary field. The aim of this thesis is to prove that the nature is a core aspect in Cormac McCarthy's novels, the significance of which lays both in description of American spaces and an ecological appeal on transformation of the anthropocentric perspective on the environment.
Observation of external environment influence on living cells with holographic microscope
Kovářová, Klára ; Tolde,, Ondřej (referee) ; Křížová, Aneta (advisor)
Subject of this master's thesis is the observation of influence of external environment on the living cells with the use of multimodal holographic microscope. The theoretical part is summarising the development of the holographic microscopy at IPE FME BUT. The theoretical part also describes multimodal holographic microscope, which allows non-invasive observing of living cells. The thesis also covers construction of the microscope, basic working instructions and the hologram processing method. The main subject of the thesis is the research on the topic of chemotaxis and osmotic processes in the cells. Experiments were designed for the purpose of this thesis to cover topics mentioned above. The experimental part of the thesis deals with cultivation of the cells, preparation of the sample and observation chambers and processing of the data. This part later focuses directly on the laboratory measurements. In all experiments, cells K2 (full name LW13K2) were observed.
Measurement of the distribution of an equivalent of cell dry mass using quantitative phase contrast of the CCHM
Kovářová, Klára ; Čolláková, Jana (referee) ; Křížová, Aneta (advisor)
Subject of this bachelor's thesis is to create an overview of conversions of phase profile to the values of dry mass and to realize experiments verifying the importance of dry mass. In the theoretical part, the history of the holographic microscopy and the development of the holographic microscopy on IPE FME BUT in Brno are summarized. The transmission holographic microscope is also described. This thesis covers its construction description and basic working instructions. The theoretical part also deals with the importance of image phase. Two approaches are presented for the interpretation of the phase delay and there is research on phase conversions to dry cell mass (according to H. G. Davies and M. H. F. Wilkins, G. Popescue, G. Dunn and D. Zicha). In the experimental part cultivation of cells, preparation of observation sample and processing of data are described. This part of thesis is also focused on laboratory experiments. Cells K2 (full name LW13K2) were observed in all experiments. First experiments deal with nutritional deprivation of cells and later with cell growth.
Comparison of the latest methods for calculations water erosion
KOVÁŘOVÁ, Kristýna
The substance of this thesis is to explain erosion matters, mainly water erosion matters. The opening part explains the water erosion, its causes and consequences, and also possible antierosion measures, which can partly scumble the water erosion or at least reduce its consequences. The main goal of this thesis is to compare and contrast available methods of water erosion calculation. What is presented here are the methods of calculation of average annual soil wash-away and consequently the selected models which serve for calculation of immediate soil wash-away. Methods for calculation of average annual soil wash-away include USLE method and RUSLE method. Only the most available possible models of calculation the immediate soil wash-away were selected for the purposesof this thesis. The closing part of the thesis evaluates teoretical findings in the particular project of land consolidation. Convenience to a given drainage area was considered for individual models of immediate soil wash-away. While calculating the average annual soil wash-away the individual patterns of the USLE method were used. This method developed gradually and individual results were compared.
Southern Gothic and Male Protagonists in Cormac McCarthy's Novels Outer Dark and Child of God
KOVÁŘOVÁ, Kateřina
This Bachelor thesis is focused on male characters in the two Cormac McCarthy's early novels, Outer Dark and Child of God. Both novels are related to the Southern Gothic; therefore, the first part of the thesis is concerned with its short characteristics and connection to McCarthy's works. The following chapter describes the features which are common to both characters: uprooting from the society, predestination, question of morality, depicting of taboo, grotesqueness, and connection with the theme of myth. The last two chapters deal each character's specifics. The chapter on Culla Holme is focused on biblical allusions, the theme of guilt and punishment, and the motif of blindness. Last chapter discusses Lester Ballard, his connection to the historical events which were used as a source of inspiration, and the transformation from the child of God to the god of his own world.
Evaluation the attractiveness tourist resorts on the Jindřichohradecko
KOVÁŘOVÁ, Kateřina
The objective of this thesis was to evaluate the attractiveness of Jindřichův Hradec. The theoretical part is a description of the basic assumptions, which are used as standard assessments of potential for tourism. Other, more complex methods are spatial analysis and overlay analysis. The practical part is the description field under review. Detailed analysis of the primary components of the assumptions offer and secondary offer. For further evaluation method is developed based on defining the conditions for tourism, which are then scored and ranked and the obtained information are summarized. The same data are used to create maps in the GIS program. All results are evaluated for overall impression of intensity and attractiveness of tourism. Conclusion is a recommendation for the development of sustainable tourism in the area Jindřichův Hradec.
Analysis of provider services offered by the Czech Postal Service
KOVÁŘOVÁ, Kamila
The goal of the Thesis was to analyze the present offer of provider services offered by the Czech Postal Service. After having performed individual analyses, I came to the conclusion that the offer of services is quite wide, although most services still have elements to improve. I would asses the CzechPOINT service as the best. At present when people's time is expensive and the need of official documents grows, the service is correctly focused. The possibility to use only one office to settle a lot of affairs solves long-time problems with crowded offices with endless queues. On the contrary, pension service is, in my opinion, one of the services requiring changes. The direction in which the service is set seems obsolete to me. The basic significance naturally does not change, but people who would appreciate revisions are reaching pension age already. The SIPO service has used inspiration from abroad. It has made use of worldwide experience with ebilling solutions at establishing the eSIPO electronic service. The service offers the customers electronic administration and check of both regular and irregular payments. ČSOB Stability Pension Fund is also one of the services that still have elements to improve. Possible change has been proposed in the synthetic part of this Bachelor Thesis. The change would consists in reduction of costs of next periods. Thanks to reduction of that item, the Stability Pension Fund could get more popularity among customers. Particularly at present, when people do not like running risks with finances, people pass more and more frequently from one pension fund to another, more advantageous. My assertion that people do not like running risks in periods of economic crisis does not apply to betting and lottery activities. As the performed analysis has shown, Sazka a.s., a betting company, has experienced increase of the number of customers at this time.
