Biogas plant Žákava

The bachelor thesis deals with the production of energy from renewable sources using biogas. The introduction talks about the history of these special-purpose constructions, which are able to produce a range of products. These products are mainly biomass and biogas, extracted from many processes from sewage sludge and containing a substantial portion of methane, generally known as the main component of natural gas. Combustion of biogas in cogeneration units produce electricity and thermal energy. The theoretical part is devoted mainly to the production of green energy from organogenous sludge draining to the wastewater treatment plant, agricultural sludge and other kinds of sewage sludge. Next objective in sewage sludge cleaning is to prevent emissions and other adverse effects affect human health and the environment in accordance with legislation. An example is the selected agricultural biogas plant Žákava, which deals mainly with the production of biogas from organic materials and its main source of income is the sale of electricity. The intention of the bachelor thesis is a comparison of production of alternative energy not only using biogas plants and determination of limits for the disposal of sewage sludge due to the waste policy of the EU.
Analysis of Competitiveness of CZ TOP TRADE Ltd

Thesis on Analysis of Competitiveness of CZ TOP TRADE Ltd. mainly deals with the ability to compete with companies, who are on the Czech market in the engineering. To determine competitiveness and competitive advantage, I used both internal company environment and external. I have subsumed here Analysis of internal company environment and also analysis of external company environment like Porters model of five forces, PEST analysis and everything I summerized in the SWOT analysis. I applied mentioned above analysis. The results of this analysis I came to the conlusion that the company is able to compete against their competitors and I have prosposed changes, which schould to increase market share.
Corruption rate and economic performance

This bachelor thesis concentrates on the relationship between corruption rate and economic performance in a single economy. The main goal is to theoretically describe the term corruption itself ant to analyse its impact on the economic performance and effectivity. This thesis describes in the theoretical part the term corruption and its causes and consequences. In the practical part it concentrates on the correlation between corruption rate and basic economical indexes in the Czech Republic and chosen world economies, while the main question is, if higher corruption rate always necessarily leads to worse economic results and if corruption rate is one of the main causes, which differentiate developed and powerful economies from the others, or if its influence is insignificant. In the conclusion statistical methods are used to quantify the influence of corruption rate on economic performance.

This masters thesis deals with the phenomena of corruption and its methods of measuring. The objective of this thesis was to fully analyze the problem of corruption, its types, causes and consequences. This work describes organizations that measure corruption and the methods of its measuring. Most of the methods are based on the soft data gained in opinion polls. That is why the aim of this thesis was to link Corruption Perception Index with the truly measurable data as world tax index and size of shadow economy. The main finding of the work is negative correlation between world tax index and CPI and positive correlation between size of shadow economy and CPI.
The phenomenon of corruption in Russia

This thesis examines corruption in economic terms and in terms of social impact on Russian society. This is a very serious problem for the Russian economy - corruption here reaches epic proportions. The main goal of this thesis is to develop effective proposals for fighting against corruption in Russia. The central hypothesis is the following assertion: the main reason of corruption existence in Russia are unsuccessful Nikita Khrushchev's reforms in state management. The paper is based on a literature review, correlation analysis, forecasting and comparison. The thesis is based on previous analysis of the development of corruption in the country, the current situation and also on the experience from other countries. These analyses are used for making suggestions for the removal of the negative state.
The use of the EU funds in selected area

This Bachelor's Thesis is focused on the use of the EU funds in Luhačovice and on individual analyses of projects. It also includes a self-assessment. Equally important is the description of the funds including the entire process of receiving finances from the EU. The main part of this work is devoted to the description of the projects that have been co-financed by the EU, which have taken or will take place in the vicinity of the spa town Luhačovice in the years 2003-2020. An overall assessment of the work is depicted in the conclusion.

This bachelor's thesis deals with analysis of corruption and its influence on the economic performance of country. The aim of this thesis is to describe the concept of corruption and the consequences of this phenomenon. The first section is theoretical and includes definition of corruption, its causes, consequences and description of ways how to measure corruption. The practical part contains comparison of corruption rate and selected macroeconomic indicators in selected countries of European Union. Its purpose is to confirm or disprove hypothesis about negative influence of corruption on the economic performance of selected countries.
Specific features of financing tertiary education in Czech Republic

The thesis "Specific features of financing tertiary education in Czech Republic" is focused on the problem of university tuition in the Czech Republic. The aim of the work is to illustrate whether investment in tertiary education will be profitable for humans and recoverable in the future, even if they had to pay tuition for college. The theoretical part deals with the basic concepts of economic theory and methods of calculating return on investment in education. The practical part deals with the analysis of the survey that people recognize the importance of investment in human capital, and even with the introduction of tuition fees are willing to invest in tertiary education. The conclusion contains a summary of the proposed funding opportunities in higher education.
Utilization of EU funds in the selected area

The thesis focuses on drawing subsidies from European funds, main focus of the thesis is the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The aim of this work is to evaluate project, which has been implemented with support of European subsidies. The project is called Modernization of elementary school Skřipov: reconstruction of boiler room to biomass heating system. In the practical part will be assessed whether the project achieved the desired results and what is its current development, in this part will be also evaluated financial returns of related measures that can improve the outcome of the original project.
