Android application for measuring user satisfaction with mobile data service
Kunc, Jaroslav ; Povoda, Lukáš (referee) ; Červenák, Rastislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on user satisfaction with mobile data services. The thesis in this context explains the terms of Quality of Service, Quality of Experience and Crowdsourcing. An another part of a thesis is focusing on describing the development of applications for the Android platform, including the distribution and application testing. In the practical part of thesis, the application for the Android platform is created and it is predicting the user satisfaction with mobile data services on the basis of an analytical model for calculating MOS (Mean Opinion Score).
Prediction of electricity consumption in the distribution network
Herbrych, Daniel ; Povoda, Lukáš (referee) ; Uher, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with electricity consumption forecasting. A lot of methods depending on the length of the predicted horizon is used forecasting electricity consumption for. Linear regression was used in this thesis. Accuracy is evaluated in conclusion.
Automatic recognition of meaning in texts
Jeleček, Jiří ; Dvořák, Pavel (referee) ; Povoda, Lukáš (advisor)
As part of this work it was designed and implemented a system using data mining techniques from the text in order to detect emotions in Czech, English and German language texts. Because the system is built mostly on machine learning techniques, was designed and created training set, which was later used to build the model classifier using the selected algorithms.
Detection of racist symbols in pictures
Klapal, Matěj ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Povoda, Lukáš (advisor)
Goal of this thesis is detector of racist symbols from the picture using functions from the open source library OpenCV. Text also summarizes description of basic processes of image processing via computers. This text contains descriptions of some methods from the library allowing us to train and afterwards detect and localize requested object. This text also compares accuracy of detection using Haar-like features, Local Binary Patterns (LBP) and histogram of oriented gradients. Text also summarizes results of a test of detection for three supported symbols, swastika, signs of SS and triskelion.
Procedural programming in database
Nimrichter, Adam ; Povoda, Lukáš (referee) ; Uher, Václav (advisor)
Thesis deals with verification of concept of performing calculations inside database. Describes PostgreSQL database, its features and procedural language PL/pgSQL. Also focuses on machine learning methods, implementation of forward selection algorithm and verification of his functionality. Frequently used tool is MADlib, which is an open-source library of scalable in-database algorithms for machine learning, statistics and other analytic tasks.
Electronic Booking System for Laboratories and Laboratory Equipment
Povoda, Lukáš ; Mach, Václav (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
The main aim of this paper is to create the database structure and the web interface of the reservation system. This system is for the reservation of the laboratories and of the measuring equipement (for hire). System was created by the most widely language intended for creating Web application - language PHP, and database system MySQL, specifficaly base on the storage system InnoDB formed for relation database and the transaction. This paper descbires the princip of the work of modern patterns like Model-View-Presenter or Dependency injection and their both practical use. The code of the web application has been based on PHP framework Nette, on PHP library dibi created for database MySQL, on library mPDF created for generation of the PDF files from HTML code. System has been created according to convention of framework Nette and already mentioned design pattern, so it means that all changes such as spreading, changes of implemented funcions, changes of design of web interface, work with the datas or implemenation of the new interface and of new funcions will be simpler and take less time then for example the use of the system without convention and pattern.
Game Web Portal - Object-oriented Programming
Hůla, Vladimír ; Galáž, Zoltán (referee) ; Povoda, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of programming structure of game web portal. The web portal will serve as a communication and information center to simplify coordination among players and allow them to gain new experience. In the thesis are analyzed the needs of players, existing solutions and their drawbacks. The results of this analysis are used to design individual functions of the portal. Implementation of the most important parts of the website has been described, the implementation of these parts were evaluated and some enhancemets were eventually suggested. In the end of this thesis several functionalities were suggested, which could extend the portal in the future.
The algorithm for the detection of positive and negative text
Musil, David ; Harár, Pavol (referee) ; Povoda, Lukáš (advisor)
As information and communication technology develops swiftly, amount of information produced by various sources grows as well. Sorting and obtaining knowledge from this data requires significant effort which is not ensured easily by a human, meaning machine processing is taking place. Acquiring emotion from text data is an interesting area of research and it’s going through considerable expansion while being used widely. Purpose of this thesis is to create a system for positive and negative emotion detection from text along with evaluation of its performance. System was created with Java programming language and it allows training with use of large amount of data (known as Big Data), exploiting Spark library. Thesis describes structure and handling text from database used as source of input data. Classificator model was created with use of Support Vector Machines and optimized by the n-grams method.
Job Scheduling in Logistic Warehouses
Povoda, Lukáš ; Uher, Václav (referee) ; Karásek, Jan (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is flow shop and job shop scheduling problem in logistics warehouses. Managing and scheduling works is currently often problem. There is no simple solution due to complexity of this problem. This problem must be resolved because of a lack efficiency of work with a higher load such as during the christmas holidays. This paper describes the methods used to solve this problem focusing mainly on the use of search algorithms, evolutionary algorithms, specifically grammar guided genetic programming. This paper describes the problem of job shop scheduling on a simple theoretical example. The implemented algorithm for solving this problem was subjected to tests inspired on data from real warehouse, as well as synthetically created tests with more jobs and a greater number of workers. Synthetic tests were generated randomly. All tests were therefore run several times and the results were averaged. In conclusion of this work are presented the results of the algorithm and the optimum parameter settings for different sizes of problems and requirements for the solution. Genetic algorithm has been extended to calculate fitness of individuals with regard to number of collisions, extended to use priority rules during run of evolution, and some parts of algorithm was parallelized.
Tool for web content annotation
Najbr, Ondřej ; Povoda, Lukáš (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on a description of the formulation of the extension for viewers Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari 5, Mozilla Firefox a Google Chrome, on summary of the facilities of development of the extension for these viewers and on structure of the extension factually for Google Chrome. The second part describes the installation of the extension for Chrome with method of the unpack extension and with method from the Internet shop Chrome. There is also described a detailed formulation of the extension for Chrome with examples of the code source, with possibility of the implementation and the commentary insert into websites. It further describes contribution of the extension and contribution of this thesis. The target of this thesis is to get acquainted with problems of the formulation of the extension of plugins for viewers Chrome or Firefox and to formulate an application, which it will be able to add the commentary to contents of the website.
