Advanced trajectory management techniques for model station in the OPNET Modeler environmen
Ludvíček, Pavel ; Mácha, Tomáš (referee) ; Vajsar, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to study and theoretically process existing movement options of station in OPNET Modeler environment. These options are described in first part. Furthermore to design and implement function to display path obtained from real-world conditions and done to station following this route during simulation. Coordinates used to move station are obtained by GPX format, which is used to store clearly the GPS coordinates. Second part is devoted to describing creation of this function, first using PHP script, then direct implementation into OPNET Modeler environment using C++.
Increasing the efficiency of the handover in real network environment
Michalec, Richard ; Sobotka, Jiří (referee) ; Vajsar, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to study methods of handover used in WiMAX and WLAN networks, next suggest the posibility of simulation methods for WLAN handover in the simulation environment OPNET Modeler. This work is focused primarily on obtaining the information about neighboring AP and subsequent selection of a new AP using such information. The work describes in detail each processes solutions that are used to implement newscanning methods
Boundary Nodes Detection in Wireless Sensor Networks
Bocek, Jan ; Vajsar, Pavel (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
Theoretical part of thesis describes several known algorithms and new approaches for the bourder node detection in a wireless sensor networks. The new algorithm BRB was inspired by failures of previous algorithms and its major supporting idea is select several neighboring points (B, C). Approach algorithm BRB is a decentralized detection of nodes located at the perimeter. The practical part compares several algorithm with the new BRB algorithm. Quantity of successful and false detection of boundary nodes was evaluated in ideal and real environment. The simulation results shown, that the proposed algorithm is effective solution for accurate border node detection in wireless sensor networks.
Application for display wireless network model
Žoldoš, Petr ; Mráz, Ľubomír (referee) ; Vajsar, Pavel (advisor)
The first step of Master's thesis was to gain knowledge about technologies Adobe Flex SDK and Google Maps API. Knowledge was used to develop an application, which let users create, generate and modify graphical wireless network model. Position and characteristics of each single unit are monitored either in a map interface or in building plans. Dates are gathered from forms filled by current user, from external file or periodically from connected database system. Theoretical part enlightens technologies that were used. It describes program development and solutions, which were made, along with examples of the source code. Included are printscreens of graphical user interface as well as description of how does it all work.
Managing Mobile IP enabled networks with SNMP protocol
Závodný, Ondřej ; Vajsar, Pavel (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
The content of this thesis is to research possibilities of using SNMP for management of Mobile IP activated entities. The first two chapters deal with theoretical analysis of Mobile IP protocol, and Simple Network Management Protocol. The Mobile IP protocol analysis focuses especially on the elements Home agent and Foreign agent. In the SNMP chapter the analysis focuses mainly on ways to exchange messages. Another part of the document is devoted to a description of laboratory networks com- posed of routers Cisco 1841 and the configuration of them. Finally is described the programmed application to manager these devices in JAVA, which is included in Annex. The program periodically sends SNMP queries and finds relationships between the Home agent and the mobile nodes, and between the foreign agent and the mobile nodes. The application has a user-friendly interface that is shown on the attached flash animation. Finally, the thesis summarizes the concepts described in previous chapters and the goals to achieve.
Web interface for sensor network monitoring
Vajsar, Pavel ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Morávek, Patrik (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and create an application that will allow monitoring of wireless sensor networks. The basis of the project is to design a database that is capable of storing data acquired from wireless sensor networks. The main requirement for the design is versatility, which flows from the requirement to use the database for broad range of applications implementing wireless sensor networks. The application itself is designed to be the most versatile and modular, which means that modules provide specific monitoring services. The application is able to monitor the real wireless sensor network through designed and implemented connector. For implementation J2EE (server side) and Adobe Flex/Air (client side) technologies are used.
