Analysis of stabilization of masonry walls on the Štamberk castle ruins
Drdácký, Miloš ; Frankeová, Dita
Analysis involves study of typology of individual phases of medieval stone masonry, classification of its quality, description of its condition and identification of its damage and failures. It suggests safeguarding and protection of masonry ruins including their presentation. It presents results of basic material characterisation of lime mortars on the castle.
Chemical and mineralogical analyses of the tile sampled from the fountain in Prague 6, Na Brusce Street
Frankeová, Dita ; Slížková, Zuzana ; Jurkovská, Lucie ; Koudelková, Veronika ; Kozlovcev, Petr
The study was focused on the identification of the material used for the production of paving in the vicinity of the fountain in Prague 6, Na Brusce Street. Using thermal analysis and electron microscopy, it was found that it is natural limestone. The results of the report were used as a basis for the design of the reconstruction intervention of the object.\n\n \n\n
Microscopical characterization of layered pigmented coatings from the interior of the basilica of St. Venceslas in Stará Boleslav
Frankeová, Dita ; Slížková, Zuzana ; Jurkovská, Lucie
The layers of individual samples, layer thicknesses, and their chemical composition were described using optical and electron microscopy. It was determined that most of them are lime coatings with the addition of natural clays, or zinc, lead, or iron pigments.
Chemical and microstructural characterization of building materials sampled from the house No. 86, Nám. 1. máje, Chomutov
Frankeová, Dita ; Slížková, Zuzana ; Jurkovská, Lucie
As part of the construction and technical survey, a microscopic analysis of samples of historic and modern core plaster and stucco was performed using a scanning electron microscope and SEM ‐ EDS analysis. Characterization of the aggregate and binder components of mortars was performed, comparison of mortars from different construction stages. The results of the survey work were used as a basis for the design of the reconstruction of the building.
Chemical and microstructural characterization of building materials sampled from Český dům, Moscow, Russia
Frankeová, Dita ; Slížková, Zuzana
The study was focused on the identification of the material used for the production of facade elements. Using thermal analysis and electron microscopy, it was found that it is not a mortar with a lime or cement binder, but a ceramic element.

Válek, Jan ; Skružná, Olga ; Kozlovcev, Petr ; Frankeová, Dita ; Svoboda, Milan ; Ševčík, Radek ; Kotková, Kristýna
Four samples of floor mortars and two samples of plasters were analysed as a part of the survey in the Romanesque chapel located in the tower at Landštejn Castle. The aim was to characterize used raw materials, determine their ratio, characterize the porosity of mortars and compare mortars sorted to different phases of construction.
Chemical and microstructural characterization of the concrete and mortars sampled from the Klavary waterwork
Frankeová, Dita ; Jurkovská, Lucie
Within the framework of the construction-technical survey, a microscopic analysis of historical concrete samples was performed using a scanning electron microscope and SEM-EDS analysis. Characterization of mortar components, determination of concrete degradation degree and identification of chemical corrosion products. The results of the survey work were used as a basis for the reconstruction project.
Chemical and microstructural characterization of the concrete sampled from the bridge Most Legií, Prague
Frankeová, Dita ; Jurkovská, Lucie
Analysis of historical concrete samples using thermal analysis and microscopic examination by scanning electron microscope and SEM-EDS analysis. Determination of degree of concrete degradation and identification of chemical corrosion products.
Analyses of baroque gypsum based plasters in the Czech Republic – mineralogy and microstructure
Slížková, Zuzana ; Mácová, Petra ; Frankeová, Dita ; Koudelková, Veronika ; Jurkovská, Lucie
Set of ancient gypsum based plasters imitating marble stone in the Czech baroque churches and palaces was analysed for the purpose of the research and restoration of historic plasters. Raman spectrometry was used for identification pigments in gypsum plasters and SEM-EDX analysis for studying microstructure and chemical composition of plasters.
