The status of regions in local governance system and its authority in the regional development

This thesis deals with an analysis of the economic performance of the Pardubice region and with an evaluation of a selected regional development project. It is divided into two parts. Firstly, the historical development and the current status of local governance in the Czech Republic are defined in the theoretical part. Further, the definition of regional policy with the emphasis on the role of the region in regional development is provided. Final section of the theoretical part is dedicated to the financial aspects of local governance, particularly to detailed description of the income and expenditure components of the budget. The analytical part of this thesis begins with the characteristics of the Pardubice region, especially from the geographical and socio-economic perspectives and continues with the analysis of economic performance of the Pardubice region in the period 2011 -- 2013. A comparison of the indebtedness of this region with other regions and the national average is added. Final part of the thesis provides an assessment of the selected regional development project called "Effective Public Administration and Friendly Public Services -- Smart Administration".

The Analysis of Active Employment Policy in the District of Pardubice in the Period 2001-2011

This thesis deals with active employment policy in the district of Pardubice in the period 2001 - 2011. In the theoretical section, there are defined terms which relate to the labor market - the labor market, unemployment, active employment policy. In the introduction to the practical part, there is characterized the district of Pardubice, especially in socio-economic point of view. Furthermore, unemployment is analyzed in this district during the period with a subsequent analysis of the main reasons causing this phenomenon. The main part is devoted to the active employment policy. There are presented major instruments of this policy used in the Pardubice Labour Office, and a complete analysis of the already mentioned period is made. Finally, it assesses the effectiveness of each instrument and the overall impact of active employment policy on unemployment in the district of Pardubice.

Analysis of credit process

The bachelor thesis is focuses on credit area and describes individual steps of credit process, through analysis of creditworthiness of customer, until possible solutions to problem loans. At first thesis describes basic characteristics, systematization of credits and risks related to credits. Second part of thesis analyzes each step of credit process. At the end thesis is focused on negative development of loans. It describes basic ways of solutions these loans and simultaneously there is shown currently czech banking market situation of default loans and specific approach of particular bank Česká spořitelna, a.s., which is illustrated on data from financial statements.

Three mystical Writings of the Middle Ages from the Point of View of C. G. Jung's Concepts

The thesis presents three mystical writings of the Middle Ages,whose common least denominator is experience of inner mystical union accompanied by a religious experience and the experience of spiritual purgation. The thesis attempts to adopt a holistic approach,it presents relevant views of C.G.Jung s concepts of archetypes and relationships between consciousness and unconsciousness,views of other authors,quotes some documents of magisterial role of the church,it takes into account a long-term empiric observations,and presents one case study.In the conclusion some approaches towards handling so called psychospiritual crisis are suggested.

Special knowledge and skills of rescue workers and its application in Integrated Rescue System

This thesis deals with the topic of rescue from free depth and from height. The aim of the thesis is to determine the level of special training of medical rescue workers who operate in the South Bohemian region in the field of rescue from free depth and from height. The first, theoretical part of the thesis covers the topic of rope techniques and rescue from free depth and from height. First, I defined basic material used in rope techniques and during rescue work from depth and from height, then also knot and knot techniques and finally I outline basic skills and methods used during rescue work from free depth and from height. The second, practical part of the thesis presents results of quantitative research. The hypothesis stated assumes that emergency service workers lack professional training in the field of rescue of individuals from free depth and from height. The research sample comprised randomly selected paramedics who work in Emergency Medical Service in South Bohemia in Tábor, České Budějovice, Český Krumlov, Prachatice, Strakonice and Písek. To obtain necessary data, the method of quantitative research, interview technique through a questionnaire was used. Collected data were evaluated and compared to stated hypothesis using contingency tables and graphs. The questionnaire consisted of 24 closed questions. The first half of the questionnaire covered identification questions. The second half of the questionnaire comprised questions to test special knowledge of material and work techniques in the field of rescue from free depth and from height and was designed to determine the level of expertise and preparedness to use rope techniques. The results of the research show that paramedics who work in Emergency medical services in South Bohemia have relatively sufficient professional training in the field of rescue from free depth and height. The hypothesis was not confirmed.
