It points out, in particular, how girls perceive menstruation, whether girls have any knowledge about menstruation, and what bio-psycho-social effects menstruation has on girls. The first part of the work is theoretical, describes the anatomy of the female genital organs, sexual development of women, phases of the menstrual cycle, hormones affecting the menstrual cycle, disorders of the menstrual cycle, history about menstruation, myths of menstruation, and the religious conception of menstruation. The second part of the work is empirical, contains the objectives of the work, its assumptions, and evaluation of the results of the questionnaire survey. The research aimed to learn what menstruation means for girls, what they experience, to chart their knowledge about menstruation, and to find out how menstruation has a bio-psycho- social impact on girls.

In the empirical part, we compared the knowledge about hormonal contraception and the risks of its use in students of secondary medical schools, business academies and secondary industrial construction schools. We also described the TNM classification, clinical symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, nursing care and risk factors. In the next part, prevention, adolescence, health literacy of adolescents, issues of education were mentioned. The empirical part consists of a quantitative questionnaire survey. The questions concerned self-examination, doctor's visits, risk factors and ways of communicating this information. The data were compared with some previous surveys. The theoretical part points to general information about cervical cancer, risk factors and prevention. It also deals with the process of education and health literacy. The empirical part of the work consists of a quantitative questionnaire. The research focuses on women's health literacy in cervical cancer, risk factors, prevention and vaccination. It also focuses on whether they are sufficiently informed and educated about cervical cancer. As part of the research, 140 questionnaires were distributed. A total of 139 of these questionnaires met the criteria for inclusion in our research survey and were subsequently evaluated. Based on the results of the research survey, an educational brochure was created, which contains the most important facts about cervical cancer, including prevention.

The theoretical part of the thesis provides general information on breastfeeding, including the most common difficulties and solutions. This part also describes the breastfeeding education process and breastfeeding counselling. The research part of the thesis is based on a quantitative questionnaire survey. This part focuses on the rate of health literacy about breastfeeding in mothers, including the specific aspects they had been educated about. Out of a total of 60 distributed questionnaires, 52 of them met the inclusion criteria and were assessed. Based on the survey results, the author created education materials that provide the most important facts about breastfeeding, including the most common breastfeeding difficulties.

The theoretical part is initially focused on the anatomy and physiology of the uterus, the next chapter deals with a separate hysterectomy, subchapters are focused on the most common indications for hysterectomy, surgical procedures and complications. The following chapters describe changes in the body after uterine removal, nursing care and the patient's own conception of the disease, which is important for proper education and cooperation in treatment. The focus of the work is a quantitative research using an abbreviated version of the IPQ- R-CZ questionnaire supplemented by demographic data of patients and possible causes of the disease. The examined sample consists of hospitalized patients after hysterectomy.

This issue is now a highly discussed topic. It is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. In the theoretical part is contained the history of vaccination, active and passive immunity. Terms related to vaccination, types and sorts of vaccines and their principles when applied. The thesis also deals with contraindications, side effects, vaccination in the Czech Republic, opponents of vaccination and there is also a definition of legislation that regulates the issue of vaccination. In the empirical part, we focus on the awareness and attitudes of parents to vaccination of children and we try to propose measures that respond to this problem.
