Ad Hoc Network Scenarios and Different Types of Attacks
Rexa, Denis ; Kenyeres, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
V tejto semestrálnej práci venovanej sieťam MANET a ich bezpečnostným hrozbám sa v prvej časti preberajú a porovnávajú smerovacie protokoly AODV vs OLSR vs ZRP.
The presence of a dead node in a distributed system
Ecler, Tomáš ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Kenyeres, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the distributed systems and the algorithms executed in these systems. The first part provides the theory relating to the mentioned topic as well as the mathematical tools used to model the functionality of a distributed system in which a dead node is present. The practical part is focused on an analysis of the impact of a dead node presence on the behavior of the Push-sum protocol. The simulations were executed on a tree, a ring, a star and a fully-connected mesh topology in Matlab.

Impact of graph structures' features on the behaviour of the choosen distributed algorithm
Daňhel, Tomáš ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Kenyeres, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to describe the effect of the graph structures’ properties on the behavior of the chosen distributed algorithm. In the first part, I have described the theoretical concept and the behavior of the distributed algorithms. In the next part, I have focused my attention on describing the mathematical tools used to analyze the distributed algorithm. In the second part, I have focused on a detailed description of average consensus and wireless sensor networks. In the last part, we have presented the results of the practical experiments.
Simulation and Optimization of Converged Networks Traffic
Turan, Jonáš ; Kenyeres, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to explore and describe possibilities of the network simulator OMNeT++, to create a user guide using this knowledge and make three tasks for computer exercise. In the first part, the principle and functionality of OMNeT++ are described theoretically, there are possibilities and area of focus. User guide can be used for basic understanding of the system. There is a description of the environment, the file composition and the basic operations. Individual tasks are focused on implementing technology DiffServ, RIP and OSPF. The goal of student is to assemble a simulation and learn basic functions of OMNeT++ and then evaluate the results.
Preventing attacks 802.11
Štefanec, Filip ; Kenyeres, Martin (referee) ; Novotný, Bohumil (advisor)
The main focus of this bachelor's thesis is on issues with security in wireless networks, based on standard 802.11. It includes description of most used encryption process and authentication methods in 802.11 networks. Also it explains functionality of EAP and RADIUS protocols, which are the main part of WPA/WPA2-Enterprise security mode. At the end of the thesis there is simulation of basic attacks on standard 802.11 and consequently desing and implementation of security, which prevents similar attacks. Implementation of security is based on authentication of clients through RADIUS server.
Communication Server Design and Implementation
Sedláček, Robert ; Kenyeres, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
In the first part of this work, there is analysis of the industrial proprietary protocol S7 by Siemens. The analysis is performed by Wireshark between the programmable controller S7-1200 and Simatic NET OPC server. This protocol is based on other protocols whose proposals and solutions are completely or at least partially described in this work. On the basis of this information is created a communication library in C ++, which allows the transmission of variables. This library is subsequently used in the implementation of the communication server through which one can easily access variables in the programmable machine with a text protocol.
Protocols Analysis of CISCO Networks
Karlík, Martin ; Kenyeres, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
ABSTRACT Bc.Karlík, Martin Department of Telecommunications, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Brno University of Technology. Analysis of CISCO networking protocols This semestral thesis is focused on CISCO networks and protocols like MPLS, BGP, Ipv4, Ipv6, Multicast – sprase / dense mode. The task was study of those protocols and design and implement lab excercise with one of those protocols by using free network simulator GNS3. In this excercise is used CISCO router 3745.

Design of Generalized Powertrain Model
Borkovec, Tomáš ; Kenyeres, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
In this work is proposed the generalized powertrain of the parallel hybrid car. The powertrain is composed from the sub-models of the power sources. Each sub-model is described by the quasi-static modeling. For given routes is computed the power demand. Based on the derived power demand, three energy management systems are tested. First system is based on heuristic rules. The second one use more sophisticated control algorithms - the optimization method. Main idea is based on minimum principle, when the control algorithm tries to minimize the cost function (fuel use, emission). The last one is based on the equivalent consumption minimization strategy.
