Lédl, Vít ; Pleštil, Jan ; Psota, Pavel ; Steiger, Lukáš ; Václavík, Jan ; Tomáš, V.
The aim of this document is to describe the optical design of the Alignment Collimator for the NEOSTEL telescope. The document describes proposed optical and mechanical design. It consists of several parts: Optical design and its tolerance analysis, Ghost image analysis, Stray light analysis, Mechanical design and FEM analysis.
AAS - test readiness review
Budasz, Jiří ; Lédl, Vít ; Pleštil, Jan ; Steiger, Lukáš ; Václavík, Jan ; Veselý, Martin
This document describes the test procedure applicable to the electrical and functional tests of the Alignment Aid System.\nThe test to be performed according to this procedure are to demonstrate the compliance of the above item to the requirements specified in the applicable document as part of the overall verification program. The test results shall be collected in a Test Report.
CNT composite - polishing methods and metalic coating
Thoř, Tomáš ; Václavík, Jan ; Vápenka, David
This study summarizes R&D tasks done in order to develop technology for polishing and metallic coating of CNT composite for optical and radiofrequency applications. Development was done on two types of material samples:\n- Material for the MIRROR demonstrator\n- Material for the FEEDHORN demonstrator
Feedhorn Coating - research report
Václavík, Jan
The report contains a description of the developed methods for metalizing of prototype of the FEEDHORN demonstrator, which is made up of a specially shaped carbon fiber composite carrier and a CNT layer. The report contains the results and comments for future construction of similar types of devices.
Active Loudspeaker Crossover with DSP
Václavík, Jiří ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
Semestral thesis is devoted to mapping and verification technologies for the project active loudspeaker crossover using DSP. Three way systém will use open baffle. Design of analog crossover is complex due to the need of compensating for acoustic short circuit and properties of laudspeakers.
Data resources for evaluation of land use in the Czech republic
Václavík, Jakub ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Kříž, Jan (referee)
Data resources for evaluation of land use in the Czech Republic Abstract The main aim of this thesis was design and create tool for recording errors in land use and land cover maps. The online interactive map application was developed. The application has two modes. The first mode is designed to inserting polygons, which represent errors in map. The second mode lets user vote on the accuracy of the polygons. Voter expresses agree or disagree with thematic and spatial accuracy. Also, the user can download each polygon KML file. The purpose of voting is to facilitate administrators work. The voting system comes from reputation system, which is used by Web 2.0. The paper briefly describes the selected land use and land cover data sources. These are Corine land cover, GlobCover, Urban Atlas and cadastral map of Czech Republic. Cadastral layer was added to the application by WMS technologie. The application was created using the Google Maps API, which has been described together with competing API. The application was developed in programming languages PHP and JavaScript and database system MySQL. Keywords: web application, crowdsourcing, land use, land cover, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL
CSG modeling for polygonal objects
Václavík, Jiří ; Křivánek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Beneš, Jan (referee)
This work deals with an efficient and robust technique of performing Boolean operations on polygonal models. Full robustness is achieved within an internal representation based on planes and BSP (binary space partitioning) trees, in which operations can be carried out exactly in mere fixed precision arithmetic. Necessary conversions from the usual representation to the inner one and back, including their consequences are analyzed in detail. The performance of the method is optimized by a localization scheme in the form of an adaptive octree. The resulting implementation RazeCSG is experimentally compared with implementations used in practice Carve and Maya, which are not fully robust. For large models, RazeCSG shows only twice lower performance in the worst case than Carve, and is at least 130 times faster than Maya.
General skew-probability distributions
Václavík, Jiří ; Lachout, Petr (advisor) ; Dostál, Petr (referee)
In the present work we study families of skew-probability distributions. We will gradually build concept of families of more and more general distributions. For us the most important ones are skew normal distribution, elliptical distri- bution and skew elliptical distribution. On the each of them we will present basic properties and visualize particular examples. At the end we will generate realizations of variates and propose how to estimate the original distribution.
Debugger for Windows
Václavík, Jiří ; Bednárek, David (referee) ; Yaghob, Jakub (advisor)
This work deals with analysis of available debugging means of the operating system Microsoft Windows XP on the IA-32 platform and ensuing implementation of an application debugger. The resulting implementation (the project RazeDebugger) supports multithreaded debugging, SIMD instructions, and viewing of accessible debugging information from source code. The work also includes comparison of the project RazeDebugger and other existing debuggers. The comparison aims at these aspects of debuggers: available functions, user friendliness, CPU usage, performance, stability, and also reaction to special behavior of the debuggee.
