The Renovation of the former District Court in Zlín

The Bachelor´s thesis is about the restoration and new use of the District Court in Zlín. The building hasn´t been using for a long time. Therefore, the aim of this work is to find a suitable architectural design which meets the requirements for a new use. This is a guesthouse with restaurant, brewery, spa services, and a small gym. Due to the extensive damage of annex from the north side, the object of the District Court and the newer annex are retained. But the annex will be reduced, two storeys will be demolished because of unstable ground and poor quality of roof insulation. Reconstruction will be favorable to architecture of Zlín. There is new sheathing by facing bricks. The facade of the District Court building is preserved, it has pastel colors.

Urban solution of sports complex in Brno Lužánky

The thesis deals with the transformation and the new proposal of the functional use of the area Za Lužánkami in the cadastral area Ponava of the Královo Pole district in Brno. The area is defined by the streets Sportovní, Drobného a Tř. Generála Píky. The aim of the thesis is the urban design of the sports and multifunctional complex in Brno for Lužánky and demonstrate the viability and sustainability of the sports complex in the 21st century and the proposal of the contemporary structure of the municipal sports and multifunctional complex including related functions and public space.

Brno waterfront - rehabilitation of rivers and their surrounding areas

The aim of the assignment was to rehabilitate the area of the Brno embankment of the river Svitava and the nearby surroundings of the river. This is the modification of the river's seashore, the modification of public spaces and the completion of individual objects. The solved territory is defined in the east and north of Cejl streets, on the east of the Svitava river and on the south by Tkalcovska street. The principles of the proposal are based on the necessary changes to the territory. The biggest problem of the area is the area backups for the hypermarket parking lot and the urbanistically incoherent structure of the courtyards and the poorly functioning waterfront. The proposal focuses on making the river accessible and bringing water closer to people. On the waterfront the bicycle path is used not only by cyclists. The former hypermarket is converted into a shopping mall and the ground floor of the seafront is made up of shops, services, cafes and restaurants. For humans, a river was available that could touch water. For relaxation and recreation, the terraces are provided. Better permeability also offers the river itself. By modifying the footbridge and delivering a new footbridge in the middle part, pedicists and cyclists can better cross the river. The park and the reclamation of planted trees have been modified. The Svitavy Drive in the section of the park was also accessible by foot. The siding was preserved to a certain extent in order to be able to prepare a wagon with a café or other possibilities of the Svitava festival under the steam. The construction of new houses increases the attractiveness of the area itself and offers both flats overlooking the river with the dominant of the church as well as services in the workshops of the individual houses. The Renovation of the former District Court in Zlín

Based on study, developed in the course of the AG34 third year, is compiled following thesis, which expands the study into stages of documentation for building permit and documentation for the execution of the project. Theme of thesis is renovation of the former District Court in Zlín and propose a new use. The building is located in the city center on the edge of Sad Svobody. In the vicinity of the area there is Castle Zlín and recently renovated Sad Komenského. Sloping plot of land in the area was modified to enable new usage of the object. The idea is to propose new usage, which will be real and interesting investment for potential investor of the project. The pursuit of inexpensive structural changes and adjustments wich will allow the best and most profitable use of the currently abandoned building. New uses are therefore rentable office space, exhibiton space, restaurant and residential units. Even though the building is not protected historicaly, the design works with the restoration of the historical appearance of the former district court.

School of Art Brno

Based on the study, developed in the course of the AG32 second year, is compiled following thesis that the study further expands into the stage of documentation for building permits and documentation for the execution of the project. The central theme is Art School in Brno, the construction site was entered on Kraví Hora in Brno Veveří. In the vicinity of the area is a park on Kraví Hora, Observatory and Planetarium in Brno, swimming pool Kraví Hora, allotments adjacent to the north and east sides of buildings and tennis, baseball and tennis halls at the southern boundary. The land is sloping, which had the effect of rendering the building. The idea was to create a building for the wider public offering leisure activities in the arts. The concept became a sector of a circle with the same center, surrounding amphitheater with a stage and incorporated into the existing terrain. The result was a two-storey building with a spacious terrace. The facade is patterned wooden slats supported by a contrasting dark gray facade in combination with glass surfaces. The public space around the school has landscaping. The school then becomes part of a large park open to the public amphitheater seating. The building has cultural and educational function, associated with the commercial function, which represents a cafe and leasable hall. The overall look with an organic, but also rational impression.

The manor house Boskovice

The bachelor's thesis is based on studio project created in the summer semester of the second year of undergraduate studies. The task was the renewal solutions and new use of the building with a loft, currently unused, the building of the Manor house in Boskovice. Manor house is located in a conservation area near the center of Boskovice, district Blansko. This historically protected building complex of farm Boskovice castle is a valuable urban property. After a fire in 1823 was rebuilt, but its appearance has remained virtually unchanged. The biggest change has passed the east wing, which was built a new roof, and arcades were walled up. Currently, the building unused and falling into disrepair. The courtyard is overgrown gas distributor greenery and paved areas are in a state of devastation. The aim was to restore the place of its historical value and use of the building to the public for recreation and leisure activities. In its current form and historically valuable buildings renaissance details will not be interfered with in any way, and nothing will be demolished, but in the context of the return of state in historical terms, it is about restoring monuments. Outbuildings were designed with understated approach so as to not disrupt the architectural structures countenance, but they gave him a new modern concept. The material on these new features is the corroded steel. It was a merger of the two approaches to architecture in a different century. The building consists of a deck above the newly exploited attic for accommodation and part of the basement is also three separate cellars. Existing structures will be redeveloped. Construction work will be carried out mainly in the context of treatment available, change sanitary rooms, new loft conversion and conversion use. School of Art Brno

The theme of the project was to create the School of Art. The schol will be used by the residents of all age groups from Brno and its surroundings. The land is located on the territory of Brno-Kraví hora. It is delimited by the street Kraví hora, adjacent park with astronomical observatory and planetarium and the allotments. The plot is in the sloping terrain and is currently located with 21 objects serving business entities. The plot is largely surrounded by the greenery of the gardens and adjacent park. The nearest building is an observatory and planetarium. In the vicinity there is also a sports centre and swimming pool. I proposed The proposed building is composed of blocks which are folded to each other at different height levels which allows to have separate purpose in each block: a musical, literary and dramatic art, multi- purpose hall and dance disciplines. Individual objects are interconnected a ramp, which is not wheelchair accessible, ramp serves just to connect these individual objects and also has the function of the architectural and aesthetic. In the northern corner of the plot is parking, arrival is secured by the street Kraví hora. At the southwest border of the land is terraced slope adjusted for free time activities
