Parametric study of acetabular cup migration
Jírová, Jitka ; Micka, Michal ; Jíra, Josef ; Sosna, A. ; Pokorný, D.
Loosening and migration of acetabular cup into the pelvis belongs to the most serious therapeutical complications. Using computational model we have analyzed stress concentrations at the contact of artificial cup and bone tissue.
Analysis of local defects of high-pressure pipelines
Micka, Michal ; Jíra, Josef
In their surroundings the local defects of pipelines influence stress and strain state in the pipe wall. They are significant concentrators of the stress and they have fundamental effect on load-carrying capacity and service life of the pipe. The field of the stress and strain in the surroundings of defects may be detected experimentally or it may be used numerical modelling by FEM. In this paper are presented results of the numerical modelling of the stress state in the pipe wall due to ovality of the pipe also in the surroundings of corrosion pits and further at the place of local inward denting (buckling) of the pipe wall.
The 2D FEM model of the hip joint endoprosthesis and the pelvis
Micka, Michal ; Jírová, Jitka ; Hrubeš, B.
The 2D FEM model is made according to the X-ray slide of the hipjoint endoprosthesis in a surrounding of the acetabular cap. Theartificial cup is the BEZNOSKA type. Three materials titan, polyethylene, cortical bone are taken as elastic. The spongybone of the pelvis is taken as elastoplastic material.
The 2D FEM model of the hip joint endoprosthesis
Jírová, Jitka ; Micka, Michal ; Hrubeš, B.
The analysis of the stress and strain state in the surrounding ofthe acetabular cup is performed. The programme ANSYS based on the FEMis used. The micromovements of the artificial cup are demonstrated.
Stress analysis of the metacarpal joint prothesis by the physiologicalloading
Micka, Michal ; Langmaier, R.
There is performed the analysis of the stres and strain stateof the metacarpal joint prothesis by the physiological loading. It is used numerical analysis by the FEM with program ANSYS.The material of the prothesis is considered as the hyperelastic material.
The load-carrying capacity of a cylindrical shell with corrosion damage
Gajdoš, Lubomír ; Micka, Michal
The problem of the load-carrying capacity of a pipe damage by general corrosion and subjected to internal pressure is solved for the concrete pipe.

Modelling of behaviour of spiral weld of high-pressure gas pipelines
Jíra, J. ; Jírová, Jitka ; Micka, Michal
The local effect of notches in the form of long cuttingson the development of deformations in the wall of a spiralwelded pipeline were modelled in the course of the hydraulicstrength test of hp gas pipelines. The influence of notchesand the spiral weld on the pipe state of stress wereinvestigated experimentally together with the numericalsimulation of the behaviour of pipes with defects bymeans of the application of the ANSYS programme.
The Analysis of the Most Important Directions of the Research into Welded Pipes for High Gas Pressures
Gajdoš, Lubomír ; Micka, Michal ; Šperl, Martin
The analysis of the most important directions of the research into welded pipes for high gas pressures.
Modelling of Local Bulging of a Pipe
Micka, Michal ; Jíra, J.
Local defects affect the stress state in the pipe wall. The stress and strain state in the neighbourhood of the local bulging of the pipe wall can be modelled numerically using the FEM. The model is made from the segment cut-out from the pipe wall with a definite defect in the form of the bulge (owing to the symmetry a quarter of the defect with his neighbourhood can be considered).
