Documentation of Barová cave - central part
Chaloupka, Roman ; Machotka, Radovan (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the graphic documentation of Barová cave – central part in the form of a plan and transection in a scale of 1:250. The thesis contains, including brief description of the area, all steps from reconnaisasance and completion of the existing measuring network to the measuring and processing part leading to the creation of the resulting map.
Quasigeoid profile Velká Bíteš - Uherské Hradiště
Kratochvíl, Richard ; Kratochvíl, Radim (referee) ; Machotka, Radovan (advisor)
This thesis deals with use of astronomical-geodetic and gravimetric leveling to calculate quasigeoid profile. The main input data in the calculation are gravimetric vertical deviations on point of profile. The aim of this thesis is the processing and calculating of the profile of relativ quasigeoid with three different methods and then comparing the calculation results with gravimetric quasigeoid and GPS/leveling.
Map of the Vypustek Cave Surroundings - northern part
Sánthová, Zuzana ; Kratochvíl, Radim (referee) ; Weigel, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create map of cave Výpustek surrounding enviroment. It is going to be complementary map documentation to existing map documentation made by the other students of VUT Brno. These documentations will be joined together and create one relief covering terain above the cave. The work began with building our own traverse and measuring detailed points. The result is topographical and hypsographical determination of the locality expressed numerically and topographically too. Another task was to measure and represent some profiles of main halls and passages of the cave. Intention is to connect underground space with the surface. Surveying network of points built previously inside the cave was used for measurements.
Thematical map of carst surface - the colony of Josefov
Staněk, Boleslav ; Weigel,, Josef (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Radim (advisor)
This thesis is focused on creating special-purpose maps of karst relief. Specifically, the geodetic terrain relief in the area of seepage Jedovnický stream. This site is located roughly in the middle part of the Moravian Karst. As part of this work are assessed height and positional conditions in the locality. This thesis describes the overall process of creating special-purpose maps.
Modular Software Tool for i.MX
Kratochvíl, Radim ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create multiplatform plug-in based application for work with microcontrollers i.MX from company NXP. This application is writen in programming language C++ with framework Qt5. Completed application is compared with already existing applications for work with microcontrollers i.MX
Accuracy assesment of underground spaces electromagnetic localization method
Skulina, Radim ; Machotka, Radovan (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this diploma work is accuracy assesment of underground spaces electromagnetic localization method and comparison with results made by Ing. Matin Šklíba in 2006. Existing Purpose-built geodetic control Býčí skála and previous measuring for past 15 years was used for accuracy assessment.
Documentation of Kaňony passage in Býčí skála cave - central part
Pribišová, Romana ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with detailed mapping of part of the Býčí skála cave, namely, the central part of the Kaňony passage. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create in the scale of the 1:250 ground plan with cross sections and extended longitudinal section of the given area The survey network was measured by polygonal traverse. For detailed measurements, we used the TopoDroid aplication tablet and modified Disto for a sketch creation. The next postprocessing was performed in the Groma and Microstation programs.
Movement planning and analysis of device for absolute GNSS antenna calibration
Hynčicová, Tereza ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Radim (advisor)
The thesis is aimed at movement analysis and planning of a robotic device for absolute GNSS antenna calibration, which is developed at Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Institute of Geodesy. The first section is devoted to independent verification of the temporal synchronization of the robotic device’s movement, which is a prerequisite for the successful antenna calibration. The following section is focused on analysis of moveable characteristics since their knowledge is crucial for the following movement planning. Method of the device’s movement shooting by camera and evaluation its position based on gained photographs is used for both testing measurements. The final part is dedicated to movement planning, especially to calibrated antenna weighting influence on device’s movement characteristics, test results implementation into the observation program and arm movement planning considering the homogeneous calibration measurement layout.
Geometrical parameters of device for absolute GNSS antenna calibration
Brátová, Kateřina ; Machotka, Radovan (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this work is description of a device developed at Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Institute of Geodesy for the purpose of absolute calibration of geodetic GNSS antennas. Thanks to calibration it is possible to remove systematic error of antenna's phase centre. The device consists of moveable arm and processing unit. The moveable arm is able to set up calibrated antenna to required azimuth and elevation angle. This work introduces the issue of absolute calibration, describes the moveable arm and the process of its assembling. Further, it defines geometrical parameters of moveable arm, describes their determination and their independent verification by geodetic method. Finally, the model of movement of antenna's reference point is described.
Cave maps and their symbols in publications Speleo and Speleofórum
Benešová, Karolína ; Kratochvíl, Radim (referee) ; Weigel, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to tackle the problem of map symbols used in maps of caves, cave systems and similar naturally created landforms. Two publications dealing with this issue were analyzed, namely the anthology Speleo and Speleofórum. For the Speleo magazine, it was 74 issues published between 1990–2019 and for the Speleofórum magazine 23 issues published in the years 1989–2019. In total, more than 1,000 maps and their map symbols were recorded. I total it was 264 and 340 symbols for the Speleo anthology and the Speleoforum respectively. Subsequently, the symbols were sorted into categories and digitalized. Only a fraction of the maps included a legend, and therefore the meaning of used symbols had to be identified in the text the respective article. Maps with key have become more common in the last five years, thanks to more affordable digital technologies such as Therion, which automatically provides a unified legend.
