Nutrient content in the needles of main woody species in relation to foraging ecology of large herbivores in Europe
Köhlerová, Markéta ; Hejcmanová, Pavla (advisor) ; Holá, Michaela (referee)
The aim of the thesis was to determine the content of principle macroelements and fibre fractions in needles of five woody species (Taxus baccata, Pinus sylvestris, Abies alba, Picea abies, Larix decidua) with regard to the nutrition of wildlife and forage resources. See if differ substantively macro nutrient elements by different ages needles. The individual objectives was to further determine, firstly, if different levels of major and fiber between tree species and secondly if different levels of major and fiber between the years of needles. Annual needles has a higher content of macroelements and lower fiber content than two years. The theoretical part deals with herbivores and their foraging strategy.Five European indigenous coniferous species were chosen: P. sylvestris, P. abies, A. alba, L. decidua and T. baccata. There were selected four locations: towns of Mšeno, Nové Strašecí and Oldřichov v Hájích and Příbram`s territory where the samples of conifers were collected. After drying the samples in the oven there were laboratory tests carried out/conducted, based on which a subsequent statictical evaluation was performed. The actual evaluation was focused on contents of macroelements N, P, K, Ca and Mg. In addition also ratios of the macroelements (N/P, Ca/N and K / (Ca + Mg) were considered. As regards fibre analysis, we focused on content of ADF, NDF and lignin. Results showed that annual needles, compared to biennials, have higher content of macroelements and lower fibre content. The highest values of macroelements and fibre content were found in T. baccata. P. abies and P. sylvestris had similar results.

Malý, Lukáš ; Holá, Michaela (referee) ; Hromádka, Vít (advisor)
This thesis focuses on considering of the investor economic risk during the preparation of the investment project including the financial plan, its evaluation and suggestions of proposals for risk reduction. Correct decisions on implementation or rejection of the project are based on the realistic financial plan. However, expenses and revenues are only implied and are burdened with some variability that leads to the risk of failure to achieve the planned values. To assess the acceptability of certain risks for the investor, an analysis of risk factors was conducted. The factors are first identified for their significance and potential negative impact, then the most risk factors are evaluated and determined whether it is necessary to further tracking or the risk to the investor is acceptable.

Old Age as a Phenomenon of Disadvantaged and Suppression of Human Rights and Needs of Women
HOLÁ, Michaela
The method of secondary analysis of data was used in the theoretical part of my diploma thesis. I analysed literary and electronic sources in the way that the result represents the completed view on the old age with its many haracteristic changes, and the view on the life of seniors in their background (in family or an istitution). Consequently, I focused on human rights and needs and their possible suppression in senior population. The main theme of this thesis represents the maltreatment of seniors and ageisms. The practical part is focused on information and their obtaining with the help of a qualitative method. I used the method of interviewing, the technique of half-directed conversation. These were provided by the women at the age of 70-80. The women left the Hospital of České Budějovice maximally 10 days before the interview. The questions looked like the interview with instruction. Five more conrete hypothesis were cretated as a result of the analysis of gained data.
NEW RELIGIONS AS A SPECIFIC VARIANT OF HUMAN PARTNERSHIP
HOLÁ, Michaela
Among with many changes brought to us by the modern times, we may also find changes in current understanding of religions. In spite of the strong deconsecration trend the experts agreed on growing popularity of new forms of religions and divergence from the traditional religions on the other side. Many alternative religions occur. Groups are diversified by their confession, establishment, methods of finding new members, behaviour models and relationship to the traditional religions. The phenomenon of new religions establishment itself can not be overlooked anymore and to me it seems interesting to learn more about possible reasons, why individuals choose this way. The objective of my research was to identify what motivates people to join alternative religious groups. The research includes a quantitative and a qualitative section. In order to collect adequate data for the quantitative research method of e-mail inquiries was applied as well as questionnaires. The questionnaire was designed for the determined objective of the research and was intended for experts in organisations involved in religious issues both in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. Specifically responses were received from employee of the Association for Study of Sects and New Religions in Prague, the Centre for Prevention in the Area of Religious Sects (CPoNS) in Olomouc and from o.z. INTEGRA - Centre for Prevention in the Area of Religious Sects, based in Banská Bystrica. I had three hypothesis determined for this part of my work: the Hypothesis I (Phenomenon of new religions popularity is related mainly to younger population, which is more sensitive to era changes), the Hypothesis II (Decision of an individual to join a new religious group is subject to expected satisfaction of currently unsatisfied needs) and the Hypothesis III (Psychological methods misused by the alternative religious groups play a significant role in individual´s decision to joint a sect). The above hypothesis has been confirmed upon analysis of collected data. In addition I used a quantitative method as well, consisting of semi-standardized interviews with former members of some of the alternative religious groups. The research group included three individuals, who shared their experience with a specific religious group. Considering the small number of respondents it was more a complementary type of method in addition to the quantitative research. The subject bachelor work may be used for more detail research of the given subject and extension of knowledge related to the phenomenon of the alternative religions. The work may be also used for description of processes taking place in the current society and affecting distrust to the traditional religions. Results of this research may be also considered when searching for an effective solution for prevention of sect impact.
