This work deals with the production technology of the plastic part for battery modules. First chapter contains analyzis of fundamental methods of machining, where are general informations about technologies which are used in the company with which one is work cooperated. In the second chapter is solved description of manufactured part and its technological aspects for the production. Next chapter is dedicated for introducing the company and its technological possibilities for the manufacturing. The rest part of the work is dedicated for designing production of the semi-finished product and clamping of the semi-finished product. With the selected variant is solved production technology of the part, where are indicated technological solutions of each operations and production process. In the end is realized technological-economic valorization, where is solved service of more machines and judged cost for production of designed variants.
Abrasive water jet machining of hard-to-machine materials
Kubín, Matěj ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with unconventional technology of material separation by water jet with abrasive. It describes the influence and specification of technological parameters of the water jet on the quality of the cutting surface. The work contains an experiment, where the aim was to achieve from the theory the influence of tech-nological parameters on surface roughness on composite materials from glass fiber and carbon fiber.
Inconel 718 machining for aerospace applications
Urbánek, Vojtěch ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is aimed at exploring the properties, usage and issues with milling of the Inconel 718 for aerospace applications. In the theoretical part a study of superalloys and their properties for successfull application in aircraft engines was conducted. Further the machinability classes, cutting materials and process of milling focusing on milling of the Inconel 718 are described. The experimental part deals with measuring and evaluation of cutting forces when milling the Inconel 718 with cemented carbide and ceramic cutting tools.
Sinumerik Operate 840D sl. for programming of CNC machines
Krulich, Hynek ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This Master’s thesis is focused on capatilibities of software SinuTrain Sinumerik Operate version 4.8 SP1. In the first part is comparison of control systems and their options. The next part discusses programming method in CNC machining. In the last part there are a practical examples of programming, simulation of their production and technical-economic evaluation.
Application of WorkNC CAD/CAM software for machining
Kuchař, Petr ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design core and cavity part of the injection moulding tool with regard to the possibilities of SKD Bojkovice company. The structure of the thesis was divided into two main parts - the theoretical part, where the necessary theory for the elaboration of the second part, the practical one was briefly introduced. In the practical part own plastic component was designed, constructed an injection mold with emphasis on the core and cavity parts of the injection moulding tool and produced the necessary production documentation. Subsequently, the process of manufacturing these parts of the mold was described, and a brief technical-economic evaluation of the manufacturing process took place at the very end.
Application of a measuring probes in milling proces on CNC machine MCV1210
Horáček, Kryštof ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the application of measuring probes in the machining process. The main goal of the thesis is to create sample procedures for measuring cycles and functions in a CNC machining process using MCV 1210 and selected measuring software. In the first part of the thesis available methods of machine measurement are outlined with a great emphasis on the description of measurement principles, construction, and measurement signal transmission methods between tool probes and the workpiece. The second part of the thesis deals with the application of measuring probes in the machining of the designed test piece using the Productivity+TM and Sinumerik ShopMill softwares. The work also includes an economic evaluation of the profit of an investment in the mentioned measuring equipment.
Modern manufacturing trends in chip machining - turning, milling and driling
Moravčik, Jaroslav ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
Chip machining has strong historical foundation. First innovations in machining were created long ago and next Innovations appeared sporadically. The Industrial revolution and then the second half of 20th Century meant start of self–driven, programmable machines used in machining. This led interest of engineers to machining process itself. The aim of this Diploma thesis is to characterize most interesting modern trends from last few years and unite them in electronical database which will be included in this thesis. Main attention is aimed for innovations in chip machining in general and also in specific branches – turning, milling and drilling. Thesis also includes discussion about economical aspect of application of modern trends in chip machining.
Wear of cutting tools at CNC production of the disc-shaped parts
Malý, Michal ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis evaluates two competitive cutting inserts for machining of disk-shaped blanks. The first part summarizes theoretical knowledge of turning, wear of cutting inserts and cost analysis of the cutting process. In the second part, the wear of two inserts from a different manufacturer is observed in two different cutting speeds. Wear is evaluated by electron microscope images. In the end, there is an economic evaluation of both VBD in different cutting speeds for serial production.
Jig optimization for LED headlamps testing
Vobr, Michal ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
The goal of this Bachelor thesis is finding the optimum for jig used as vibration testing jig in a company Automotive Lighting s.r.o. The condition of optimum is jig’s weight with preservation of mechanical properties.
Sinumerik 840D sl. tools for programming of CNC machines
Mešina, Matej ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and production technology of the front hub for a mountain bike. The research focuses primarily on the various control systems of CNC machining apparatuses. The second chapter is devoted to the elemental differentiation of hubs, the concept of personal design of the hub, and the characteristics of the materials for its production and its verification using the FEM analysis. The third chapter deals with the design of a workpiece, instruments and the manufacturing process itself. The design of an NC program constructed in the SinuTrain 4.8. software is dealt with in the fourth chapter. The last part is devoted to the technical and economic evaluation of the proposed solution.
