Visualization of User Pronunciations for Electronic Dictionarties
Pešán, Jan ; Chalupníček, Kamil (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's work is to try to find a new way for development in learning capabilities of electronic dictionaries. There is an introduction of the main concept of learning pronunciations with visualization of phonemes in the first part. It is followed by chapter, which does a global review of methods for speech processing used in this project, e.g. HMM or Viterbi algorithm. In the third chapter, there is description of tools that we have used for implementation of the whole system. Next chapter explains more in detail technology of neural networks, used here as probability estimator. There is also a description of problem with compatibility of the used phoneme sets and in addition, it describes used phoneme models. Chapter 5 is whole about implementation of the system. There are also described scripts and tools applied for the preparation of the source data. In the next chapter, there is a user testing with screenshots. Moreover, in the last chapter I wrote a short conclusion and possible future ways for further developing of this system.
User Mobile Application with Location-Sensing Aspects
Marcely, Peter ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis was performed during a study stay at the University of Crete, Greece. It deals with analysis, design and implementation of network application written in Java. User's front-end of this application, which is based on Google Maps API and JavaScript, allows following the position of their friends and other users connected to network by 7DS. There is a possibility to put pictures to a specific location on a map. Users can also connect to community network Facebook what allows them to import and export pictures from this community network.
Use of TCP/IP Protocols for Algorithm Control in Real-Time Digital Audio Signal Processing
Pilch, Martin ; Plchot, Oldřich (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of protocol for control of digital audio signal processing over TCP/IP networks. The application of this protocol in embedded audio processing units allows to remote control of real-time processing of digital audio signals. The library, this thesis disserts on, allows for superior and faultless transfer of data and accordingly reliable control of audio signal processing at long distances via the local network or Internet. This library is designed to transfer any type of data and can be applied in any sphere.
Sharing and Reusing Semantic Queries for Searching the Web
Taraba, Tomáš ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis was preformed during a study stay at the Université de Nice, France. It is about developing a graphical user interface for drawing or generating intentional maps using goals and strategies.
Parallelization and Optimization of Image Processing Applications
Šiška, Jakub ; Seeman, Michal (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis was performed during a study stay at the École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Électronique et Électrotechnique Paris, France. It proposes solution for speeding up image processing algorithm and its adoption for use with real-time video stream from the infra red camera. The first part discusses characteristics and basic principles of the IR technology, followed by specifications of used camera. Ongoing text also proposes solution of problems concerning network communication with the camera. In addition, it describes camera's output stream format characteristics and solution for output visualisation. Substantial part of this work covers issues concerning parallelization and optimization of video stream and image file data processing. Problem of the parallelisation for this case is explained together with implemented parallelization method. Entire theoretical part is supported with the real results, benchmarks, which are presented in the last chapter.
General Purpose GPU
Potěšil, Josef ; Černocký, Jan (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the general-purpose computing on graphics processing units. The examined kind of algorithms are the sorting algorithms. The beginning of this thesis deals with the general-purpose thematic itself, available tools and technologies. It continues with the basic theoretical informations about sorting. At the end the implementation of some sorting algorithms in CUDA, performance tests and the evaulation of these tests are described.
Set of Web-Based Demonstrations for Signal Processing
Kaňok, Tomáš ; Jančík, Zdeněk (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to give a basic overview about convolutions and complex exponential functions used in signal processing. Additionally, it contains the list of existing public educationally-oriented solutions available on the Internet. Set of web-based demonstrations for signal processing is proposed, implemented and evaluated upon analyzed solutions.
Automatic Creation of Corpora
Šantavý, Marek ; Černocký, Jan (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This work is a presentation of tagging and formatting of text-data corpus. It creates a layer above suitable represented documents for their mutual comparison in order to determine the similarity among them. Tools that provide near-duplicate calculations are the basis for an automated system for creation and expansion of the existing text-data corpus. There is an option to choose between two basic approaches according to the significance of the outcome. Means of new text-data acquiring is the tool for web crawling.
Real-Time Image Processing Algorithm Implementation
Rypák, Andrej ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis was performed during a study stay at the École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Électronique et Électrotechnique Paris, France. In this project, I deal with designing program components for a rapid prototyping software called SynDEx that is used for automatic code generation, real-time application development and optimization for multicomponent mixed architectures. I briefly introduce this software. I present techniques I used to implement two different specific image processing chains and a displaying component. The chains perform image segmentation and labelling. In this project I deal with designing program components for a rapid prototyping software called SynDEx that is used for automatic code generation, real-time application development and optimization for multicomponent mixed architectures. Automatic Creation of Parallel Corpus from Movie Subtitles
Straňák, Marek ; Černocký, Jan (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This work is about the creation of parallel corpus, where movie subtitles is main source. In particulary, it is about alignment czech and english sentences using dictionaries and morphologic analyzers or alignment talks of subtitles in other languages using timing of talks. The work give basic information about parallel corpus.
