The Roofing of The Multipurpose Building

Aim of bachelor thesis was to design and assess timber framework of roofing multipurpose building. The building will be situated in Trebic. Ground plan dimensions of the building are 80.6 × 54.5 m and building height is 17.1 m. The building will have a curved shape with a radius of 30 m. The structure is designed from glued laminated timber, solid timber and steel connecting elements. Substructure will be solved by concrete anchor blocks on foundation strips. The main supporting element are trusses which statically acting as a double-jointed arches. Stability of trusses is securing by purlins together with bracings. Bracings are composed of four fields of cross bracings and longitudinal bracings. Gable walls will consist of columns with braces.
Steel structure of a hall

This bachelor thesis deals with design steel structure of industrial one-aisle hall with span of 30 m, length 63 m and height of the holder of a crane track girder 9,3 m. The hall is designed with two overhead cranes with load 50 t and 32 t. Structure is designed from steel S420. Roof structure is designed in two versions. These versions are compared by weight and better version is processed in detail. Drawings contain platforms of both versions, two cross sections and manufacturing drawings of truss.
Reconstruction of the Building for Storage

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is to design the extension of the steel structure of the storage hall. The task is to double the platform area from 18 x 18 m up to 36x18 m with the height of 7,5 m. It is required to use as much of existing profiles as possible. The structure is located in Znojmo. The original roof structure is made of truss girders with the segmently curved lower girdle. The span of main frame is 18 m and the axial distance of main frames is 6 m. All girders are pinned. In extended structure is used the plate girder. Spatial rigidity of the structure is made by wall and roof bracing. The static calculation of main load-bearing elements including joints and specific details was made for the structure. The technical report and drawings were specified by the supervisor. For design of the structure were used valid standards ČSN EN.
The structure of the car showroom in Trutnov

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is a propopsal and evaluation of the steel load-bearing structure of a car showroom in the area of city Trutnov. The plan dimensions of the structure are dodecagon 25m. The headroom is 6m. The car showroom is designet by piramidal roof. The main load-bearing structure is created by 10 cross-links. Polar coordinate of it is 30°. The distance of main collumns is 12m. Load-bearing structure of roof is created by lattice truss. General rigidity of the structure is provided by transverse wind braces and layout. Roof covering is made of roof panels laid directly on the purlins. The cladding is made of glass panels. In the back of structure is the sladding made by self-supported structure, which is not part of the thesis.
Warehouse Hall with Outbuilding

The aim of the work is to design steel structure warehouse hall with outbuilding in the city of Brno. Plan dimensions of the building are 24x48m. The main supporting part is diagonal links with range 18m and a height in the top of the ship 8.9m, which is hinged to the base structure. The main structure is articulated outbuilding with dimensions 6x48m and height in the top 5.6m. Diagonal frame links are formed of beams and columns. Among the main support frames are thin-walled solid purlins reinforced rods. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by cross braces. Roof cladding and walls will be made using sandwich panels. The calculation has been done in Scia Engineer 2012 program and by hand calculation.

The Roofing of the Sport Hall

The main purpose of this work is a design of timber frame roofing structure for multi-purpose sports hall. The building has rectangular shape 50 meters long, 35 meters wide and 16 meters high. Main support element is glulam timber two-hinged arch. Structure consists of glued laminated timber elements, as well as solid-sawn timber and steel ones. This document includes design, internal force enumertion ans structural assessment, including joints. Dlubal RFEM 5 structural analysis and design software has been utilized in the process. Drawings of the structure are enclosed.

Trusses for Traffic Signes

The bachelor´s thesis deals with design of the constrution of trusses structures for vertical large format traffic signes over two-lane and three lane road lane highway. Constructoin is made up of horizontal space truss construction and column of steel tubes. The calculatin was performed manualy using Scia Engineer 2013. Loading consists of self-weight and wind load.
The Roofing of the Sport Hall

This thesis deals with the drafting and assessment of timber structures, the single-roof sports facility to span 40 meters for the Brno locality. Hall dimensions are 40 x 52.5 m. A height of the hall is 16 m sports hall is designed for most sports played indoors. The supporting part of the roof is designed as an arch structure made of glued laminated wood. The structure is made up of cross-linking - triple joint arches distance of 3.5 m. Arches are connected by purlins. Stability is ensured by placing four fields bracing.
