Název: Vývoj tělesných znaku a motorických schopností dětí ve věku 3-61et The development of physical characteristics and kinetic abilities of 3-6 years old children Cíle práce: Roční antropometrické sledování somatického vývoje a tělesné zdatnosti ve vybrané skupině dětí 3-6 let. Metoda: U souboru 53 dětí ve věku 3-6 let byly ve 4 měsíčních intervalech během jednoho kalendářního roku měřeny vybrané somatické znaky a byla testována tělesná zdatnost. Rodičům dětí byl dán k vyplnění dotazník pro zjištění sociálního zázemí dětí. Výsledky: Osvětlují korelace antropometrických charakteristik s tělesnou zdatností dětí ve věku 3-6 let. Regional culture and Curricular Documents as a tool of its mediation and reproduction

This diploma thesis explores regional culture curricular documents as tools of its mediation and reproduction of regional culture. The theoretical part starts with definition of key words related to culture, local and regional culture. Next theoretical part (chapter 3) describes curricular documents, which are products of new educational reform, in context of regional culture. Firstly, in practical part, I characterize two selected regions - Prague 1O and Uherskobrodsko region and their typical elements of culture. Chapter 5 summarizes results of questionnaire survey, which is focused on finding how students of elementary and grammar schools are informed about culture in their regions and as well as their approach to the local culture and role of schools in cultural education. The final part of this diploma thesis is devoted to my project proposal that should lead students to closer relationship with cultural and historical heritage in their regions, showed on the example of Uherskobrodsko region. The use of sport games in geographic and environmental education

In its introduction, this dissertation concentrates on literature research, explaining the basic concepts connected with movement, dynamic and didactic game and the theory of the relationship between upbringing and education. Furthermore, the paper includes an explanation of the principles connected with the process of teaching itself, different types of teaching and concrete types of teaching used in geography and environmental education. There is also a chapter about the acquisition of knowledge, both its processes and the factors influencing the subject matter in memory. An important part of the paper concentrates on strategies for increasing the capacity of long-term memory, reminiscence and determinants of forgetting. An indispensable part of school teaching is motivation, which increases interest in given dilemmas/problems and prompts children to perform appropriate actions. The main goal is to create a catalogue of didactic movement games in printed as well as in electronic forms (programs MS Excel, please see attached CD). Such a catalogue should serve as a methodical tool, and the movement games within the catalogue should enable diversification and increase the motivation of students. RNDr. Emil Calda, CSc. e-mail vedoucího: Emil.Calda@mff.cuni.cz Abstrakt: Diplomová práce je koncipována jako sbírka řešených slovních úloh se sportovní tématikou. Je členěna do osmi kapitol, v každé jsou příklady řazeny od nejlehčích. Vprvní části nazvané "Rozcvička" jsou nejjednodušší příklady (většina na úrovni základní školy), určené k "zahřátí" mozkových buněk. Následují kapitoly "Rovnice, nerovnice a jejich soustavy", " Goniometrie a trigonometrie ", "Planimetrie a stereometrie ", "Posloupnosti" a "Kombinatorika a pravděpodobnost". Na závěr je zařazena kapitola "Různé", obsahující např. fyzikální příklady, příklady na logiku apod, a část "Pro náročné" s těžšími příklady. V úvodu každého příkladu je napsáno pár slov ke sportovnímu tématu (historie, aktuality, pravidla, ...), k němuž se vztahuje úkol. Studenti se tak současně mohou dozvědět i něco zajímavého ze světa sportu. Řešení slovních úloh by nemělo být ve vyučování opomíjeno. Studentům většinou nedělá problém počítat, upravovat lýrazy a postupovat podle určitého algoritmu. To, co často nezvládají, je umění porozumět zadání slovní úlohy, matematizovat...

Concept of the Test Set to Determine the Level of Fitness of the Czech Republic Police Members

Název práce: Návrh testové baterie pro zjištění úrovně fyzické kondice příslušníků Policie České republiky. Cíle práce: Navržení testových souborů pro zjištění úrovně fyzické kondice příslušníku Policie České republiky s ohledem na požadavky kondiční zdatnosti v rámci přímého výkonu služby policistů. Metoda: Fundamentální metodou této práce bylo pozorování. Při výběru testů do testových baterií bylo provedeno expertní posuzování vhodnosti jednotlivých testů. Normy byly vytvářeny na statistickém principu při předpokladu normálního rozdělení všech testů, podobně jako je tomu v testové baterii UNIFITTEST (Měkota, Kovář, Chytráčková, et al., 2002). Výsledky: Dokazují vhodný výběr dílčích testů a potřebné složení testových souborů otestovaných na výběrovém souboru policistů. Three Systems of Intial Teacher Traning. Czech, Norwegian and Spanish Teachers of English - Comparative Study

- I Abstract In the time ofunification oftertiary education in Europe, there are still significant di:fferences between countries in the initial teacher training. This paper draws attention to the situation in initial training ofEnglish teachers in three countries: Czech Republic, Norway and Spain. The objective of this thesis is to analyse and compare the curricular organization and the content of English studies at three university institutions in the three countries. The empirical part of the study is complemented by a presentation of results of a research carried out at these institutions. The paper is concluded by a few proposals and some suggestions on what each system ofteacher training could adopt from the other two are made. Anotace V době, kdy v Evropě dochází ke sjednocování terciálního vzdělávání~ existují stále zásadní rozdíly v pregraduální přípravě učitelů. Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na situaci ve vzdělávání učitelů angličtiny ve třech zemích: České republice, Norsku a Španělsku. Cílem práce je analyzovat a porovnat studijní plány učitelství angličtiny na třech univerzitních institucích ve třech zemích. Comunity of Portuguese Speaking Countries:ideal and reality

This text explores the topic of contemporary relations between lusophone countries, principally at the level of Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (iComunidade dos Paises de Lingua Portuguesa - CPLP), the international intergovernamental organization founded in 1996 by représentants of seven countries which use Portuguese as official language - Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and Sao Tome and Principe - with intention to promote a multidimensional cooperation. The project of CPLP tries to get value from the common past of these countries, to which in 2002 added independent East Timor, that goes to the colonial era. Characteristics of this period are also matter of interest of this essay, including the ideological background of the Portuguese presence in the overseas areas and the process of the abrupt decolonization of the Portuguese Empire are also focused in this text. Being the language the most solid tie between these countries, in addition to mutual cultural influences, the Comunity of Portuguese Speaking Countries tries above all to promote a difusion of the common language in the world and within the participating states.
