Influence of welding parameters on angular distortion of weld
Crla, Tobiáš ; Vaněk, Mojmír (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to qualify influence of welding parameters on angular distortion of weld. This thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical part and experimental part. The theoretical part is focused on solving causes of origin of tension and distortion during welding and on analysis of these causes. After the mentioned analysis there are also described solutions, how to prevent the potential origin of distortion and tension or how to proceed when these two phenomenas happen after all. In another section of this thesis there is term mentioned - method of welding MIG/MAG, because welding method is also affecting the origin of distortion and tension. Since this thesis is focused on angular distortion, there are theoretically described processes of this distortion and some methods of its assessment. These assessments are implemented also into the experimental part. In this part is practically examined influence of welding parameters on the angular distortion of weld on simple weldments. The measured values were compared to calculated values because of accuracy of measurement and verification of these values.
Influence of welding parameters on a transverse distortion
Harmaniak, Daniel ; Vaněk, Mojmír (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis is described a theory of internal tensions and distortions during welding. My thesis also contains technological and structural principals used to minimalize them and methods used for elimination of internal tensions. There are also included calculated methods depending on the different parameters of welding concerning transverse distortions. A butt weld was done between two sheets of tin and its transverse shrinkage was measured. The measured value was compared with the calculated one.
New aspects of MIG/MAG welding
Týn, Zbyněk ; Daněk, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the latest welding technology MIG / MAG. Between which such us method of Cold Metal Transfer or Advanced CMT. These new techniques are mainly used for welding thin sheets. They integrate gradually into the connecting of various types materials and also bulky welded structures. All of this is demonstrated thanks to the management and control of the welding process.
Welding of pressure vessels
Máca, Martin ; Dohnal, Ivo (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
The work is focused on the technology of welding pressure vessels. The chosen pressure vessel was one for beer fermentation (also known as CK tank). In addition there are methods of weld inspection and legislative rules for pressure vessels, also mentioned in this work.
Welding of pressure vessels
Klika, Stanislav ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
This project elaborated as a part of bachalor's study of programme on Institute of Manufacturing Technology provides suggestion of manufacturing technology for welding of pressure vessel by methods 111 and 135 and comparison between these methods. Based on literary study of welding issues, the substitution of method 111 by method 135 was suggested keeping the weld quality. Weld quality was documented by testing of the welds. Economic advantage of implementation of method 135 was proved by the costs calculation and comparison.
Influence of welding parameters (U,I)on metal transver during MIG/MAG welding of steel
Ležovič, Peter ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
I was concerned about gas metal arc welding in atmosphere of inert or active gas. After basic characteristics of MIG/MAG welding process, forces affecting drop of metal are described. Then types of metal transition and summary of factors affecting shape and size of welding joint are explained. Last chapter describes results of experimental test and compares them to theoretical results expected.
Škoda Roomster welding procedure
Podstavek, Michal ; Daněk, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis elaborated in full-time bachelor's degree in B-STI. Mechanical Engineering describes the welding process of Skoda Roomster. The thesis describes the production process of welding a chassis and joining methods used on Skoda Roomster. Single methods of connecting includes the types of tests used by VW standards used in Skoda Auto. On the chosen joint is designed the WPS weld.
Influence of welding parameters (U,I)on metal transfer during MIG/MAG welding of steel
Bardoň, Václav ; Hála, Michal (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
I was concerned with welding method of gas metal arc welding at inert or active shielding gas MIG/MAG. First of all are described forces interacting with drop of metal inside arc, other part of bachelor work is addicted to basic separation of electric arcs and metal transfers. The last part is addicted to the influence of welding voltage and current for size of welding work areas in different metal transfers and their effects for quality and shape of welding joint.
Electron beam welding of parts made from aluminium alloy
Jirák, David ; Jakoubek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
The topic of this thesis was ordered by Valeo Compressor Humpolec Itd (further referred to as Valeo). It deals with the electron welding of a component made of an aluminium alloy, a piston specifically, which is made for an automobile air-conditioning compressor. The aim of this thesis was to analyze and suggest a way of increasing porosity of the welded area. The data needed for the analysis and the present state of the welded area was provided by Valeo.
Welding analysis of turbine rotor
Minář, Luděk ; Daněk, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
A research bachelor thesis analyzes possibilities of welding on turbine rotors with emphasis on efficiency, productivity and economy of welding procedure. The work evaluates presence of failures in weld joint and effort to prevent them. Characteristics of turbine materials, which resist to high service temperatures are presented on the literature sources basis. Concept of welded turbine rotor is preferred, because it has many advantages in using big steam turbines for power industry.
