The issue of groin injuries and risk factors affecting this type of injuries among football players.

Title The issue of groin injuries and risk factors affecting this type of injuries among football players. Objectives The main objective of this thesis is to summarize theoretical findings regarding the groin injuries among soccer players and to prove efficiency of preventive training program aimed at reduction of groin injuries incidence in soccer players. Methods The theoretical part deals with the given issue as a research and theoretical overview of the current findings, based on Czech and especially foreign literature. Findings of theoretical part were obtained by foreign periodicals, monographies and electronic database, mostly PubMed and PEDro. In the second part of thesis a preventive training program was applied at a specific group of soccer players (n=42) in age U16 (n=20) and U17 (n=22). Selected group of probands performed preventive intervention training once a week for 6 months. After that results were compared with the same time of season in the previous year, when no preventive measures had been taken. Information about previous injury has been obtained by non-standardized questionnaire. It consists of two parts, a general part and a specialized part. General part comprises basic knowledge about the knee joint, total replacement, gonarthrosis and describes physiotherapeutic processes during the post-operative period. Specialized part, the main part of this bachelor thesis, constitutes the process of patient therapy after a total knee replacement on the right side and an evaluation of the therapy's effect. Title of bachelor's thesis: Case of physiotherapy care for patient diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis Objectives: The aim is to emphasize the use of physiotherapy as a part of comprehensive treatment of a patient with rheumatoid arthritis. The thesis includes a detailed casuistry of a patient with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods: The thesis is divided into a general part and a special part. The general part is focused on description of rheumatoid arthritis. It discusses characteristics of the disease and its division, clinical symptoms, pathogenesis, prognosis, psychological aspect, examination and treatment procedures. The Special part of the thesis presents a casuistry of a patient with rheumatoid arthritis. It includes entry kinesiological analysis of a patient with rheumatoid arthritis, subsequent therapy and output kinesiological analysis. This casuistry was prepared at the Institute of Rheumatology in Prague during the bachelor praxis in the period from 14th of January 2013 to 8th of February 2013 under the professional guidance of Eva Ištvánková. Summary: The bachelor thesis deals with polyarthritis disease with early rheumatoid arthritis and its physiotherapy care. It consists of two parts. The general part contains a general joint anatomy, deals with the major problems of disease and polyarthritis rheumatoid arthritis, its diagnosis, treatment and physiotherapy care. In the general part is the frequency of occurrence of fracture, mechanism of injury and the theoretical method of treatment of this injury. There are describe all possible therapeutic methods and procedures manual and physical therapy, which contribute to the rapid and full recovery the patient with this problem. A special part is prepared on the basis of case studies selected patients. There is also an application of my choice of methods and techniques selected from the general part, which I used in therapy to achieve the best results. Case study of physical therapy care of patient after ischemic stroke

Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after the ischemic stroke Objectives: The main aim of this study was to verify my ability to work with the patient, his examination, making conclusions, proposed treatment and its subsequent implementation. Other aim was mapping of the literature on the subject. Methods: The first part of my bachelor thesis is theoretical and it is aimed on stroke. There are described anatomy of cerebral artery, knowledge about stroke, its clinical symptoms and treatment options in this part. The description of spasticity with its influence on therapy and its treatment and the techniques used in physiotherapy are also there. The Brocca aphasia is described in the last section. The second part is the case report of a patient P. V. with diagnosis: ischemic stroke with dextral symptomatology. This special part is based on two weeks' work with the patient in the hospital (Ústřední vojenská nemocnice - Vojenská fakultní nemocnice Praha). This work lasted from 9th January 2012 to 3rd February 2012. The thesis includes: the entrance examination, the short-term and the long-term treatment plan, the descriptions of therapeutic units, the final examination, the comparison of the entrance and final examination and evulation of the therapy effect. Summary: The work is divided into general and special part. General part: This part deals with the issue of cervical disc disorder with myelopathy and its treatment with rehabilitation included. General part is divided into individual chapters and subchapters which contain the definition and the description of its issue, its etiology, occurrence and pathogenesis of the illness. It explains basic anatomical terms, clinical views and pharmacological methods. Special part: It is written up in the form of the case report of particular patient with his (above-mentioned) diagnosis. Then, anamnesis, complex entry and final kinesiology examination and the description of therapeutic plan are described in detail.
